Maureen is such a poor manager, hes lost it. Cant get a team to play good football even when he spends a fortune!
Id actually love it if they dropped out of top4.

Eh? He’s got his contract renewal hadn’t he? Job done. Just waiting for the pay off next.

If Manure lose the match, Maureen's excuse will be it's because of Spurs, for selling allowing Townsend to find his place with CP.

Obviously still won't be surprised if United still win this, but they really can look crap at times, really hope they drop down the table. All their matches seem the same, most of the possession, but no real effective method of scoring. It's just pass pass pass and the hope that something eventually comes off.

Here’s the excuse from Danny Mills
“Mourinho knows United aren't going to win the league and he isn't concerned if they finish second or third.

He's now focused on the FA Cup and the Champions League, and all his training will be based around that.”

Great performance from Palace. ManU look fucking terrible since Sanchez arrived. Pogba should spend less time on his barnet and more time on the training field.

I’d be very surprised if Palace didn’t get at least a draw based on that half. Anything but a Utd win is a great result for us.

It wasn't a poor game tactically, it was just a dull one for the neutral. For Chelsea to stand a chance the best thing they could do was make it as boring as fuck for the rest of the world, stay in it and try and nick something. You say City didn't play well, but that's because Chelsea prevented them from doing what they love to do, which is get through and behind teams. ManC's average xg is 2.48, today it was 0.95. That is the second lowest they've had all season (after the Liverpool game - but even in the Liverpool game they scored 3 goals). Against us it was 4.15 and ours was only 0.18, as opposed to Chelsea's 0.12.

What Chelsea failed to do was counter attack effectively. But that's not because Conte didn't want them to, he was going nuts when they wasted their rare opportunities, he knows that with players like Hazard, Willian, Pedro, Morata, Fabregas etc he has the quality to hurt teams on the counter, it's what they often do, they just didn't get it right today, but defensively it was pretty spot on.

What we did might have looked "brave" but it wasn't, it was just tactically very stupid, and far more half arsed - we didn't press as well as Liverpool and we didn't keep our discipline like Chelsea. Which is why we lost 4-1 and it could have been 10 and Chelsea only lost 1-0 and that was over the xg.
Never said we were brave BC, we wernt pragmatic and disciplined enough.
Chelsea didn't counter effectively because they wern't winning the ball back effectively enough and that comes from a lack of desire and urgency.

Their half arsed bus did enough to frustrate a labored looking City but they never look remotely dangerous because of their lack of fight and urgency to win the ball back and break with purpose like we saw a couple of seasons ago which was a very impressive away performance at a top side.

Sorry mate, not really agreeing with u on this one.

To be fair though United often play this shit and still win. I'm not allowing myself to get any bit excited at the prospect of United dropping points yet!
