Good match, city looked decent. There bench options are crazy, completely forgot that they also had Bernardo Silva.

Two things we learned from that game; City are probably as good as everyone says, and Everton can't just jump from 7th/8th up to 1st-4th in a single closed season.

Haha Wilshere, dog shit person all round. Just a wannabe thug who only thinks he is hard as he has money. You are 3ft8 you pr*ck, if he played Sunday league he would have his leg in two bits within seconds!

Get another injury mate and do us all a favour and f*ck off out of football.

Not to fight Hank's battles but...you mock but there are lessons to be learned from both sides of the pond. You can't really 'buy' silverware over here and typically every team has a true chance of winning each season. I'm pretty sure there are at least 86 teams in England that would like that arrangement. We also have profit sharing in our leagues. Would you like to belittle that as well? But promotion/relegation is pretty awesome.
The fact that there's no long term incentive to really coach and improve players because other teams will reap the rewards is just ridiculous imo...and lets face it, the majority of American sports are quite boring to watch so equality is the only way to keep people interested in them.

Luckily we each have our own face. Oh and f*cking (the) cricket, (the) darts and (the) polo say hello :ROFLMAO:. Rugby is the shit though(y). I almost 'know' whats going on. What I've got so far is there are a bunch of really burly gentlemen that like to invade each other's personal space. When not randomly doing that they engage in a lot of hugging. When doing neither of those they are generally kicking the living shit out of each other and berating some little wanker that keeps calling a halt to the aforementioned activities. I think I'm off to a good start in my understanding. Give me a little bit and I'll be up to speed but I'm entertained nonetheless. I think I support Quins. Their kits are splendid. Any help with that would be great. Wouldn't want to be supporting the chelsea of rugby.

Haha, in a nutshell Cricket in the long form is pretty damn boring these days, can see it dying a death personally but the limited over stuff is generally excellent entertainment, I only really follow the national side as I really don't have enough time for the county stuff.
Polo, wtf...not even a sport imo, it's just for the rich and privileged.
Darts, again not a sport either, anything you can play in a pub imo can't be considered a sport.
Rugby, I only really watch the national sides play, I have the utmost respect for what those guys put themselves through physically...no pads, helmets or gloves, just raw physical aggression, very entertaining...u should really switch to the Saracens though, they're based in North London like the mighty Spurs!
Won't clog the thread up anymore as it was just a harmless, throwaway jab at the Hankster mate.

Disagree, I think the yanks do a pretty good job of their sports and most are entertaining. A/Football, Basketball, Baseball, Ice Hockey etc All good IMO and a fuck sight more entertaining than most of ours bar football.

In fairness, MLS is very entertaining. It's a bit like five a side football, when everyone's fucked after an hour or so, and tactics/formations just go out the window. Great watch

I find most of them lack any great deal of skill, and rely more on athleticism.
A Football, one bloke who can throw, one bloke who can run and catch, and twenty blokes in body armour wrestling each other, stopping play every 12 seconds for 8 minutes of tactics...yawn

Basketball, oh look...someones scored again, someones scoring every 3.5 seconds, novelty soon wears off, really boring.

Baseball, the pitching seems quite skilful, but the batter dudes are just swing and miss 95% of the time with a rare home run, a load of fielders who never drop a catch because they have stupid buckets on their hands as they're either scared or unable to catch a little cork ball. Crap really.

Only thing entertaining about Ice Hockey is when they fight, the stupid goalie with his armour on takes up 95% of the goal, and the puck thing is so small and moving so fast its just pointless as a TV spectator sport.
