If Yedlin hadn't of touched it, Barkley would have tapped it in.

Poor goal to concede, but at least it's not a rob.

To be honest these are the risks you take when you set up to defend for most of the game. Whether it be in your favour or not it makes the chances for the game to be decided by fine margins that much greater.

Rafa sent them out to defend from the start at home and have now lost. I thought he would have shown more bravery but they have had a very difficult start with ourselves & Chel$ea at home. I still think they should have went for it though but easy for me to say sitting watching it on television ?❤

That's my favourite game of the season so far.

Not a dull moment.

Engaged for every second of it.

Feel for Newcastle to not get anything after the discipline and adherence to game-plan they showed throughout, but you have to concentrate for every second of a game and one piece of scrappy defending got them.

They should be ok this season if they continue with this level of performance.

They lack some fire up front, that's their key challenge imo.

Burnley might want to think about dropping Joe Hart to 3rd choice. Give yourselves a chance in the pl and cups until Pope gets back. Then Hart could be 4th choice.

They didn't just park the bus they took the wheels off and put it on bricks.

Only having 19% of the ball at home is pretty embarrassing. I think Rafa was way too afraid of Chel$ea today. When they played us they had a go. Very disappointed with the way they set up today. I personally don't believe Chel$ea are all that and if Newcastle had have went for it they might have even got the 3pts but that was shocking. ?

There's a lot of turmoil and infighting up there at Newcastle. I would not be surprised to see Benitez walk away or be sack by Ashley.

Just seen the Mitrovic goals for Fulham, what on Earth was Hart doing? Awful goalkeeping for both. First one the ball was in the air for so long for him to claim and the second the header was straight down the middle.

Just seen the Yedlin elbow on Giroud, whether or not it was deliberate what made me laugh was Giroud going down holding his face like he'd been polaxed and then when Newcastle scored he looks up like he couldn't believe it, there was absolutely nothing wrong with him and had he stayed on his feet and closed Yedlin down he'd have prevented the goal.
