Dijk is a good defender but he’s laughably overrated. He probably wouldn’t get in our side when everyone is fit.

Nah he is extremely solid - I have listened to a number of players recently who have said he is tough to play against - admittedly they are second rate strikers haha but he has certainly impressed me this season. Liverscum do look a great deal more solid than previous years

There was no way Guardiola was going to lose that game today after losing to them last season. He got their tactics spot on and they should have won.

I’m still so pissed off we didn’t turn up against liverpool and gifted them the win.

Yeah he’s a good defender but all this chat about him being the best in the league, truly world class etc etc, he’s done nothing of note as it stands and he’s prone to an error or two.

Sane had the run on Van Dijk, but I highly doubt Sane is gonna score from that angle. Just stay on your feet and hope for a corner. Liverpool will go home the happier considering the circumstances

We have been bang average this season. Infact, out of the top 6 we look the most mediocre yet we are 2 points off top place. Not bad at all

You can argue about all our defenders though being error prone. Every player is error prone, its just that simple. GK's and Defenders get it worst because an error in them generally goes punished, midfielders and strikers generally escape.

He id definitely in the top five along with Toby and Verts and id say Stones as well as ... then I struggle...

But would you not rather be in that same position but in proven good form? There is nothing to say we will suddenly improve to the levels required. Especially as the international break will see most player be away and not return until close to the wham game.

Fingers crossed this will give players like dembele, alli, eriksen, verts the time they have needed to rest and come back in the form we need them.

But its all guess work really.

We were a not-given stonewall pen away from getting something out of that game.

I'd rather be in form but better to pick up points when it's not going well too.

If we had beaten Watford we would be top of the league. I like how we are going under the radar right now

He's been poor since last season ended. Had an awful World Cup and it looks like his confidence is shot. Nowhere near the level he threatened to reach when he first arrived in the PL.

Beautiful bit of skill from him to get around Lovren on the byline I thought, but Aguero is the dog’s for me. Some people have pulled out this stat that he has a poor conversion rate but he is a beast and you just don’t take a player like that off the pitch in such a big game... it’s like us taking Kane off in the 65th minute :/

Did Mendy make one pass to another Man City player ? He may have pace and strength but his passing is shockingly poor.

Cardiff appealing the red card from Saturday. Warnock written all over it. "If it's not endangering a players life it can't be a red card".

Hope he gets an extra 2 games for a frivolous appeal

Then I guess Ashley Williams should have been given a red for almost killing Robin Van Persie.

This is the guy who when managing Sheff Utd v West Brom told his players to get sent off so the match would be abandoned, after 3 players got sent off. The tackles were wild and dangerous and the match was an embarrassment to the PL.
Warnock can suck a dick
