Fuck's sake so unlucky Huddersfield
One of my best friends is a Huddersfield fan and before the summer we both agreed that they really need to bring in a player capable of grabbing 10 goals or so because the energy is there but the lack of goals in the team is always going to put them at a disadvantage. Now, the chairman, coach and everyone at the club deserve heaps of praise for what they achieved but you can't help but feel that they have have made a rod off their own back by not bringing in a striker who can do this. They had lots of games without goals last season and in a lot of them they actually took it to the opposition only to have no-one who could finish.

How on earth haven't Huddersfield scored? Cutting through them time and time again

The biggest difference between the two sides is that the Huddersfield players can't control the ball. It just bounces off them.

Yep, and that was again another terrible effort on goal from a good position. Such a lack of quality. Not sure if it was out of their capability (to add to the squad) but if not it's quite naive of them to think they can survive again with such a lack of ability in the team.

Anyone complaining about our fluidity only needed to see that Liverpool performance to realise things are going to be okay. How many easy and great opportunities did Liverpool waste on the counter attack? A better team would have got something from that and I don't think Liverpool's resolve is as good as what people have been led to believe.

Not looking good for Newcastle.
10th last season was a small miracle given their squad and the tensions at the club, but I didn't think the wheels would come off so badly while Rafa was still there.

Is there a reason that the Young tackle that left Hazard holding his ankle wasn't a foul? I'm fairly certain that a challenge that late would result in a free kick in the middle of the pitch.

So what's gone wrong up there?
My opinion is that it looks like Rafa's conflict with Ashley over funds has got the players to believe they aren't good enough, similarly to Mourinho's quest for a defender which seems to have made all his current defenders lose every semblance of confidence.

Rafa also has to take some blame for his extremely negative setup and tactics even in games like v Cardiff that they should be setting out to win. You can't score if you can't get out of your own half.

Not defending Ashley, the club is an absolute mess and the sooner he fecks out of football the better, but Rafa has to take some blame for this.
