Utd were all over them for the first 15-20 mins. Since then they have eased off, made mistakes, and both James and Shaw had treatment. Shaw went off in the end. Unravelling a bit for them this half. Lindelof was weak in the challenge and Maguire nowhere near Ayew and unable to cover.

I still think united will score.

Is Lindelof actually good? I see people mention him as if he is actually decent, but more often than not when I watch him, he looks easily over-matched and generally "meh." I'm assuming it's just the Manchester United Factor that sees him overrated.

Dunk goal disallowed by VAR for either an offside or a foul on the keeper. Stone wall decision either way so I think it was poor reffing to even let it go to VAR tbh.

Martial really should've been given a pen there. One of those where VAR won't overturn the ref's decision.

Slightly off topic but this old timer's first visit to Carrow Road was in 1972 - October IIRC - almost 47 years ago.
I had only left left school in July that year. Saw approx 56 matches that year.

Kids finished school at 10yo in them days. Shouldn’t you have been up a chimney instead of spaffing tuppence at a football match?

Both Man United and Palace look horrible.

With each passing PL week, I get more confident that we should secure top 3, with relative ease, especially when more of our first teamers return from injury or suspension, and the new boys get up to speed .

I don’t think it’s the refs call. All goals go to VAR. or are you saying he should have blown up before the goal happened?

Pretty bad challenge and deserved red. However, i dont think that was intentional and i feel people are being overly dramatic with it. There will be other challenges this season that’ll be far worse.
I don't think he intended to go in quite so badly but he was completely out of control and had to be punished with a red.

I'm saying he should've blown up as the ball went in and let VAR check his decision instead of waiting for VAR to make the decision for him. I mean it's an offside player who has jostled the keeper to the ground, it's not even debatable.

the madness is that of all things you could choose to do, you do that. Like he is caught between trying to stop or tackling the man but jumps and then can't stop the two footed landing as he turns.
