Now that is a neat party trick - do you spill much?Honestly, that Audi cup has turned you lot into a right self entitled bunch of brats. You're expecting us to win every trophy now?
It's almost like you're forgetting we can pour pints from the bottom.
Feel a bit deflated - somehow I was convinced Chelsea would drop points tonight and we would have an outside chance of top 4 still. I know it sounds stupid but it’s the first time I’ve accepted champs league is gone. Sadly I just don’t believe Man City will be kicked out so think 5th won’t matter.
Unfortunately I now have to put up with my Liverpool supporting husband jumping around the living room ?
Liverpool winning it rather than e.g. City goes to show that we can. January 2018 is when things changed - before that we were much the better team, in the CL while they struggled to make the EL, and had just destroyed them at Wembley. Since then our net spend has been £131.33M - theirs' has only been £63.46M. They haven't spent more than us, far from it. But they've bought smarter, prioritising the defensive positions and spending whatever it took to fill them as well as they could. And they've sold smarter to fund it, selling Coutinho at his peak for more than he was worth rather than us being unwilling to listen to offers until a player had started to decline. In addition they've had much fewer issues with fitness and injury, whether that's because of better staff or because of their transfer policy. There is absolutely nothing about Liverpool's success we're not capable of replicating. We’ll never win it. We will never spend the money required. I’d still rather be us though than those despised throughout Europe dirty cheating hubcap stealing motherfuckers. Hope all that nivea gives the ****s a nasty itchy rash too.
I want us to win the league ??

We spent £60m each on two different players last summer, and that's without managing to bring in any significant income from sales. I don't think £70m is remotely out of the question once football's recovered from Covid.they lucked out getting as much for coutinho as they did, then they went and spent £150m+ on just two players, both instrumental in their subsequent success. You ever see levy spending that kind of money on key positions? I’d agree with you if we suddenly spent £100m on the best dm in world football followed up by another £100m on world class full backs but we know it ain’t ever going to happen
We'll see. I honestly don't think we're that far off anyone except Liverpool. If they drop off (and they're certainly due some injuries, Mane wants to go etc - it's far from impossible!), we have a chance. And even if it is 3-4 years from now and by then Kane has either gone or isn't what he used to be, there is no reason we can't compete without him. We might have missed a chance, but there'll be plenty more to come.I fully think the stadium caused everyone at the club to take their eye off the ball. We started to think we were bigger than we are and we'd arrived, when really we were nowhere near. The virus has screwed us using our stadium to our advantage now too. I really think it will be a good 3/4 years before we have a proper chance of challenging for the league and we wont have the best striker of our generation playing for us then. It almost does feel like we've missed our chance.
Maybe but things in football can change very quickly.I fully think the stadium caused everyone at the club to take their eye off the ball. I tend to agree, I think a RB, CB DM and ST gives us the depth we need to have a healthy squad. We need to sharpen up the attack and continue to improve our system. Once we do that therer is no reason why, with the squad we have, we can't be up there. We'll see. I honestly don't think we're that far off anyone except Liverpool. Shame one is a complete dud that can’t be bothered to run after the ball once its left his boot.We spent £60m each on two different players last summer, and that's without managing to bring in any significant income from sales. So glad we're still in lockdown and working from home as I don't have to immerse myself in an office environment full of reds. It would have been unbearable
I hope they celebrate so hard tonight they riot and burn anfield down like the fucking retards they are so we can deduct points and ban them from the league.
Also, coronavirus outbreak waiting to happen. Dumbasses. God i detest that club and their fucking delusional fans.
