How many mid-table teams are there left in the prem? They're either very good, pretty good or abject shite this season.

Not many tweener teams.
I’d say Brentford maybe. Possibly Palace and then yea rest are either very good, fairly good or pretty rubbish. Making for an interesting league/season.

The thing with United is that whilst they won today, there was an element of it being down to them being at home and desperate.

Just throwing everything at it to get the win.

That is okay when you are just having one of those days.

But this United team start games so sluggishly, they dont appear to have any real direction or identity and they are susceptible to getting caught out easily. Teams can walk through them.

I don't suppose people are telling United they shouldn't celebrate like they won the league? Or is it just us who can't celebrate things? 👀

That is wild. Monday/Friday/Monday.
I suppose everyone has to take their turns with these shitty fixture times, but a bit off to give us them all back to back, especially on top of playing so many away games to start with, and away to both start and finish the season. No favours there, clearly, in service of the beloved Arsenal.

Legitimately impressive that Hodgson, aged 76, currently has a patchwork Palace team above Manchester United. Andersen's probably been the best defender in the league this season (though our Micky/Cuti might have something to say about that).

I said it early doors but the more I see of them the more convinced I am, the three that came up will be the ones who go down. The drop off in quality is huge. I don’t think we’ve ever seen three teams come up and all of them be so off the pace.

I still think it’s too early to judge Burnley.

They’ve had a very tough start fixture wise (City, Spurs, Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa) and can see them picking up points as long as they stay calm and don’t go sacking Kompany.

So do we want Arsenal and City to draw so we stay top of the league, Arsenal to beat City because City will be a tougher rival in the title run in or City to beat Arsenal just because they're Arsenal?

I always want Arsenal to lose. Always have, always will.

I'm fine with two of the three. Just don't want an Arse win.

Not that fussed about top of the league tbh.

I’m hoping for a draw so we can go into the international break top (having the early KO and being top for a day doesn’t count)

End of the day we all know deep down that City will win the league but I’ll happily take this moment of joy even if it’s just to watch other fans squirming

I'm torn between a draw and City win. Being top and being able to enjoy it for longer than a week would be class. But being the only unbeaten side left after 8 matches would piss so many people off across the football world..

Basically anything but an Arsenal win.
