A record how? Nuno was sacked after 10 PL matches on Nov. 1 2021.
I think he means the opposite way around. That this is the latest in the season that the first sacking has occurred (I don't know if it is, that's just what I believe is meant).

ETA, it's not. First sacking of the season (PL era) has happened later than 4th December in six other seasons (92/93, 95/96, 99/00, 10/11, 14/15, 20/21).

OK, I suppose that makes sense. I would have figured matchweeks 12-14 would be typical for first sacking, but perhaps not.

Have now edited my reply with some data. It's not the earliest, happened later on 6 occasions.

About to start having a lot more matches rescheduled for TV I imagine. Couple of years off mind you.

Good that they've got rid of Amazon. Three rights holders is IMO two too many but but cutting one is at least a step in the right direction.

But I am surprised they're getting a bigger deal in the current economy. People are struggling to afford subscriptions as it is, let alone if the price is hiked because Sky and TNT have paid up more.

Obviously the US is a much bigger market (and this is only for the UK), but it just made me realize how insane the NFL TV deal is. It's $11 billion PER YEAR.

I do prefer Amazon's way of having multiple games available at once and it's refreshing. Being able to pick and choose should be the norm.

Oh and we can turn commentary off I believe. Which is a HUGE plus.

Arsenal definitely practice throwing themselves to the floor, don’t they?
