I admittedly haven't watched the full 90 minutes in either game, but there is definitely something missing from the Gooners compared to last season.

I've said all along it's a completely different ball-game this season with Champions League mixed in, I'm still not convinced they'll have the quality in depth to cope with both competitions.

Exactly this, I feel like Arteta thinks he can rotate the squad like Pep does at City but as soon as they are playing Wed/Sat every week, he will start seeing he needs his first team and the rotation doesn't work. Not when you have the squad they do.
