What a joke.

So not only can they farm out their deadwood for exorbitant fees (like Chelsea in the summer). They can now have the pickings of who they want, whenever they want.

A Saudi team can buy a player for 100m then loan him to an oil club in Europe for free? Blatant cheating of the FFP rules.
Surprised the other clubs went for it. Even the likes of City and Villa who have feeder clubs.

Not a sport anymore this. The pot's full to the brim with cash and everybody wants their cut. Any morals left in the game are dead.

I feel like greed has just about managed to get its tentacles around the sport to the point of no return.
It’s not the same anymore.
It’s dishonest, shady, corrupt and fucked beyond belief.

Well there goes the premier league, circling the toilet.

Thanks again, late stage capitalism. The professional game has been about money for a long time, but now it's not even trying to hide it.

I'll admit I know very little as to these clubs' ownership structures, but really racking my brains as to why they would vote against the motion?
Forest owner also owns olympiakos

wolves - the Mendes connection

Everton - cos they are owned and run by imbeciles?

Irrespective, the loan still carries a fee (although probably low). It would still come under FFP rules.

Such a rare breed football fans, a video of some premier league players telling you how to pronounce their names, and of course the comments are full of fans telling them they are wrong… 🤦🏻‍♂️

Interesting bench for City today - and Pep only names 8.

Its a shame we were run over by the injury train - might have had a chance at the top had we been able to stay healthy.

Should be an interesting match. I'm still not convinced by Liverpool's title credentials, feel like I've watched them play poorly a fair few times this season. They are still up there though I guess.

After the last few weeks I'm now just a bitter cynic and want both the sides to suffer season multiple season ending injuries....
