I really don’t get the idea behind giving points back based on the teams ‘co-operating’ they broke the rules and the governing body so to speak investigates, it should be taken as a given that they co-operate, not used as mitigation ffs.
Yeah. It should be a minimum deduction with further deductions for failing to co-operate rather than point additions for co-operation. You've still cheated, you shouldn't be rewarded

Because City's is far more complicated and isn't just the last 3 seasons or whatever the timescale for PSR is.
It's always worth posting reminders about the City case whenever the other cases come up, because the level of whataboutery around it is ridiculous.

The cases that have seen verdicts up to now are open and shut cases. The accounts of these clubs show they are breaching PSR, they have a chance to explain themselves and a verdict is reached. These cases are "easy".

City's accounts don't show anything wrong. Their case is about obfuscation and deception and those things have to be proven. It is a completely different matter entirely to prove that City's accounts are wrong, than to see that "these accounts breach the rules, so these clubs are punished accordingly".

That is why the City case is taking so long. But just because City's case is complicated doesn't mean every other case should be put on hold until a verdict in City's case is reached. Those other cases have to be dealt with when they arise, and if anything the cases this season have been dealt with too late as it is.

The PL running to approve a horrible owner assured to send Everton down a path it won’t be to come back from right before the independent regulator comes in. Standard stuff. Feel so bad for Evertonians. The club is cooked. They’ve got no chance. Shame on the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Nottingham Forest has been pushed back to Sunday 7 April at 18:00.

It was previously scheduled for Monday 8 April.

This is due to rail strikes on the Monday

Oh whaaaat?! So I have hotel booked for Sunday and Monday night.

Obviously not gonna need Monday now...

Anyone know if it's gonna be possible to get back to Exeter from North London on the Monday...or would we be better just jumping on a late train after game and canceling hotel?

Right for them to move the fixture in theory, however I'd still be nervous of trains running properly post game after 8pm on a Sunday night before Monday strikes.

Great western is affected on the saturday. It's the tube strikes on the Monday that will affect most people. (Also lines from Cambridge and Hertfordshire into london) If you can get to Paddington it looks like trains are running as normal. It's the getting to Paddington that will be an issue

Monday 8 April - c2c, Gatwick Express, Great Northern, Greater Anglia (including Stansted Express), South Western Railway (including Island Line), Southeastern, Southern and Thameslink. London Underground drivers who are members of ASLEF are also set to go on strike on this day.

I'm all for footballers needing to retrieve the balls themselves, including going into the stands. Dier was ahead of the curve on this one.

Any news on the TV scheduling regarding this? Assuming it was a live MNF match.
