I HATE that type of "foul" Gordan is the one fouling Phillips there surely

if that was anywhere else and KP went down faking an injury you could almost see a red for Gordon. It’s a contact sport FFS

I hate that that was given as a pen. VAR have completely fallen for Gordon basically engineering that situation. He planted his foot there, knowing full well he wasn't getting the ball, just so he would get kicked as Phillips was half way through clearing it. Live, I thought the ref had seen right through Gordon's nonsense and had made a good decision.

Have refs disagreed with VAR this season? Is it career suicide to do so I wonder.

Just when I was thinking West Ham look a good side they’ve gone to pieces.
centre of their defence looks poor. Newcastle have made lots of good chances today, even with half a team

This is a great game to watch to be fair.

Momentum fully swung back round, but so much happening.

Still hoping for Newcastle to sneak a winner and let taxpayer Utd drown in their sorrows on their long trip back

Funnily enough, the only time I've ever seen a ref be advised to go and look at the screen and then stick with his original decision was with us, when Hojbjerg was fouled in the build-up to a goal we conceded last season.
