Worst game of the season. Really low quality. The same goes for the referee. Only one yellow card for Arsenal is a jole.

"It's clearly not a win," says Walcott sagely, "it's a draw against a team in a stadium away from home".

That was the worst game of the weekend by such a huge margin, The Sun might try to quantify it in ‘football pitches’.

Anti climatic. I know football has moved on, but both teams barely tested the goalie.

I remember Arsenal has their rivalry with United and it was full on two teams going for it.

Arteta played not to lose with maybe a lucky counter. Obviously they'll be delighted with the point. I think for all of City's possession they didn't do enough at all. Turgid all round

Glad they've dropped points but they'll also probably be happy they've navigated this game without a loss.

As usual we go a season potless, but we'll have a say on the title race. We have scuppered Liverpools chances in the past and have made it difficult for City too.

We'll play City, Arsenal and Liverpool with nothing to lose. Sonny will give them all something to think about

I’d back us to get something at home against City and Arsenal. Be surprised if we get a result at Anfield though

Schmeichel now on Five Live defending the ref's performance today on the basis that he did so well in the match Eriksen had his medical emergency.

Taylor was a disgrace today. Both teams set up the same way with control being everything. Inevitably Arsenal ended up sitting deeper more as the away team.

Both teams tactically foul every time they are out of shape. Arsenal benefitted the most from this but 1 yellow all game for the amount of tactical fouls that stopped clear counters was a joke. Taylor had to be braver and put more players at risk of a red, which would have created a different game.

A player on a yellow can't be so aggressive, and imo Taylor was a strong contributor to why that game ended up a bore draw. It's efficient and a winning brand of football but Pep and Arteta's (who basically copies him) brand of football is so boring for me now.

I'd like Liverpool to win it simply because Klopp's brand of heavy metal football is not so boring and robotic.

But we very nearly did get a point there last season with a far worse team, despite a woeful first half....

Would be happy to take a point from that match, I think the other 2 home matches against City and Goons are very winnable

It’s weird to feel both happy and annoyed at the same time with that result.

Wanted City to win but glad Arsenal didn’t nick it. With Liverpool’s win earlier it’s not the worst result in the world but still could have been better.

Looking at that, I'd say Arsenal's fixtures are pretty favourable...

In much the same way that Aston Villa have to play the top 3 as well. Ironically. Arsenal Man City and Liverpool may well influence who ends up 4th and 5th. In the same way that us and Villa could end up influencing the top 3 places.
