really is quite unbelievable to think back to when we pipped them to 4th 2 seasons ago that we’d be in this situation. Everyone predicting their downfall to mid table and having to sell their players etc. I suppose the one solace to take from it is that it proves that Ange is right and champions league is not the be all and end all.

One thing I notice watching Arsenal and City is they pin teams back much better than we do. We have a lot of possession deeper but when we’re that far forward teams play through us pretty easily. Lets them attempt more risky passes because the other team rarely punishes it
