Everton 1 v A Villa 1 :grin::grin:
Fulham 3 v Liverpool 1 :grin::grin::grin:
Sunderland 2 v Spammers 2 :grin:

All things considered, very good results, as far as our rivals for CL places go.

I reckon it's going to go like this between now and the end of the season.

Ye, pity about City having two games in hand though. Think they're only one point behind us, and they have a couple of handy games coming up. November is a massive month for us. We have to get at least 8 points out of it to keep the pace I think.

Criminal refereeing in the Burnley v Hull match, ref gets a red card equaliser for Everton against Villa.
Both Pool sendings off looked harsh but Carragher should have gone earlier and Fulham should have had a pen.
I'm glad KW Jones will be out of the Spurs match (I'm taking it he'll get 3 matches) but it's embarrassing when players role around like Illunga and I think they should get booked for that.

we've got away with our bad results in terms of other teams not capitalising on our defeats. But now we've got to have a good run of games to consolidate our position.
No more silly defeats please (stoke)

The save by Given in the first half which he tipped onto the post was up there with Gomes save yesterday from Fabregas and the Popmey save.

Results have luckily gone our way this weekend.

should be interesting again this weekend, Villa play bolton, City got Burnley and Liverpool are playing Birmingham. By no means are all of those games guaranteed wins for our 'top 4' rivals

Another interesting weekend in what should be an interesting season. At the moment it's wide open, you're 4th one week, 2 weeks later you're 8th. It's about not panicking when you're suddenly 8th because you could easily be back 4th with a good couple of results.

Perhaps by christmas we may see the league taking a bit more shape but I still believe 4th-8th, possibly 9th and 10th will be closer than ever. It will be fun yet scary waiting for the latest scores to flash up on the jumbotron at the lane. It's going to be a rollercoaster!

Just because the Spammers hate us doesn't mean that we have to hate them.

Well happy that Villa are losing. They're genuine top 6 rivals.
