Gallas deserves everything he gets. Never understood why Wenger made him captain but there you go, Wenger is always a ****. Stripped Gilberto of the captaincy for no apparent reason, who saved Arsenal that season with his constant goals and then puts Gallas as captain who has done fuck all apart from moan. Well, it's good for us really because now we can all laugh at the arse.

Gilberto did suddenly lose the plot last season, though—although I'm not sure he ever had it completely. Viera he wasn't, even at his best. What's really baffling is why Gallas was preferred to Touré.

i just love it when things go tits up in goonerland!

i often have a sneaky peek on arse-mania, just to cheer myself up. There's no sweeter sound than that of deluded gooner mugs suddenly realising that their team/manager/style of play isn't all its cracked up to be having a good old moan about it.

fucking love it!!!!!!!!!!

Good question. IMO Toure is ten times the player that Gallas is and looks like the kind of guy that could definately mentor the younger players and take a bad results on the chin.

2-0 down at City as well now.

I Was hoping no one would mention this until after full time, I can't think of how many times we have been gloating at them losing on this board only for them to totally turn it around before full time.

Still, they look toothless by all accounts now....famous last words? hopefully not

(Robhinho had another disallowed, so they could have been 3 down :eek:mg:)

Exactly why I kept schtum about it !

I always welcome any Arsenal defeat under any circumstances, irrespective of THFC results. Petty I know but that is me I'm afraid.

I can just hear them now, all those Goons calling football phone in shows calling for Arse to be sacked as they are playing 'poor' football.

They dont know they are born these idiots and dont realise how good they have had it over the last 10/15yrs.

Like when they get booed off at home? Are they for real?

I wonder how Arse-Mania is reacting to this result. Would make for funny reading.

From the BBC webby...

"It's a flattering result for Manchester City. The attitude was right because we fought very hard. We lacked a bit of maturity to dominate the game. I don't think Man City created a lot. I think we were quite in control of the game. We have no big issues - just the fact we didn't win the game. We have a good attitude, a good spirit. We'll turn it around."
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger

What a complete to$$er of the highest order.
No praise for City just another fucking whingefest.

But what do you expect?

He would have been better off taking my line of 'I did nt see it'
