you are joking right ? he took that penalty like the keeper was'nt there...absolute perfect height for the keeper.terrible penalty..

do a zakora smash the fucking thing ...and chimbonda to not even hit the target from 12 yrds is a disgrace.

I think you underestimate the space that the players have to work with.

You are talking absolute nonsense and have obviously never played the game beyond a "kick in the park with my pub mates" level. Its more than just kicking the bloody thing.

Sudden death penalty in the Uefa Cup against the top Dutch team (just out of the Champion League) in front of thousands of jeering Dutch fans.

Im sure you think Chimbonda's assist which helped keep us in the tie was a disgrace as well.

Gomes could and probably should have been punished several times tonight.

First off it's zOkora. Secondly I guess you must know what it is like to take penalties in that situation to speak so matter of factly. :bang:

You are talking like they are the first players not to score from the penalty spot.

firstly,,berbs pen was class..jj;s was shite i dont need to have played in a high pressure situation to know that, the commentator on the radio said when jj was standing waiting to take it,he looks far to casual,,and it showed in his pen,

and you can bang your head all you like i dont give a monkeys.

if we do definately go for a new keeper in the summer, i think we should go in for Gomes. MOTM.

He did make an awesome save from Malbranque but is he better than Robinson? I dunno. He flaps more than Robbo I think. Got away with alot.

Gomes is as bad, if not worse than Robinson at crosses.
There were plenty of episodes over the 2 legs that his decision making and communication with his defence nearly cost them on numerous occassions.

We need a new keeper yes, Gomes though, no.

Aye. Never seen him kick a ball with so much confidence in himself. If he did that more in games, he might find himself on the scoresheet.

He always kicks the ball with total confidence. Not, however, with total control.
