My mate lived on that road. Went before and after a game few times, 'twas ok. There's something going on with the ownership there, they were trying to get crowd funding or something.

I embarrassed myself there once asking if I could pay by card. They told me "this isn't a facking west end wine bar mate".

Indeed it is not.

It's a 'Community Pub' all the staff are volunteering their time to serve behind the bar and they tailor the opening/closing times to suit the needs of the locals (I'm not local but we were in there til about 2am after Ledley's testimonial). If you so wanted you can buy a share in it for £50 (I think).

They've now gone all west end wine bar and take card payments and even gave me cashback the other day.

I live in Chelmsford. I used to go bar 41v but its closed down. Try the golden fleece near the station. The Anchor down moulsham street is a spurs pub. All the pubs will have a good turnout for Tottenham away games. Shame bar 41 isn't open anymore as that would get packed at times.
Alright mate cheers, maybe see you around for a beer then bud. Shame we don't have a pub where it's packed with Spurs fans really!

For those Souf of the river The White Bear near Kennington tube (near The Oval) is an unlikely but great little spot, full of Yids. Or it was a few years back!!

Thanks chaps for all the suggestions. I think i will stick to Tottenham in the hope of finding a pub with no other supporters in at all, so if it is as bad as last year, i can suffer in a sympathetic atmosphere. Of course one improvement on last year was that the four hour journey back from the Eithad will be replaced with a 15 minute drive back from Tottenham.

If your watching it in Tottenham you wont be alone, plenty of gooners will join you no doubt :)

Anyone know of any decent boozers near Whitechapel/Spitalfields and Camden at a push? Unexpectedly in the area arriving at 7pm with little time to faff about!
