Given the growing Islamic population in the East End of London, and the proposal to build Europe's biggest mosque in that area, then I think West Ham would be a better fit for the Qataris, their money and their local community development projects.

Not at all racist. Fuck me!

Firstly, I think he was being sarcastic. Second, even if he wasn't, how is that racist?

Qatar is a terror supporting state that has the blood of thousands on its hands, from migrant workers to the victims of its proxy battles.

And our club could be owned by them.

Yep the Qataris supported the rebellion in Syria. I seem to remember other governments wanting to do the same.

Not saying it's right. None of us ever learn the lessons that if you give a nutter a gun to fight your enemies, sooner or later it will be pointed at you or someone else.

Yeh, but the choice isn't between one state or the other. And even if it was, it's the extent of issues that matters. There are only a handful of countries that could rival Qatar in that regard.

Can we leave politics out football for a change we can hardly say that the UK have not been responsible for a great deal of world suffering.. The whole mess in the Middle East and parts of Africa was caused mainly by the British and French trying to carve up areas of influence..

I am tired of being RUBBISH I would love to the Qataris come in as long as they followed the Man City model and did something for the local area..

Look at it this way. Every penny they spend on us winning the league is a penny not going to fund terrorism. Does that make people feel better?

Does our Government buy their Oil and Gas?? If yes that will do for me.. I thought it was Qatari citizens who supported Syrian Rebels mot the actual government

Let's please put politics aside. We don't real know what is the truth. This is a football forum were yes we express are views, but it should be only about tottenham not Muslims and Jews. I am a Muslim, and I can say there are wrong and so are everybody else that are killing people all over the world. All are care about is tottenham hotspurs football club. What's best for us and what's not.if these Arabs do takeover then will the same fans that did not want them complain if we win the league and play CL every season ?

And don't forget here in South East Asia as well.

So forget politics. Football should bring people together. And I surely do not want us to be a mediocre club forever. I'm for the take over.

Unfortunately, seeing as the Muslim population of London's East End are either of Pakistani or Bangladeshi heritage the Qataris would not see it as a better fit.

Despite the teachings of Islam making it clear that prejudices and racism are forbidden there is still a lot of bigotry between the different main ethnic groups of the religion. Middle Easterns generally consider themselves to be in a higher social class to North African, Black Africans, South Asians and South East Asians (ie other Muslims).

I'm not opposed to money but the Qataris have let over a 1000 people die making WC stadiums. No, for me.
