Sounds like Norman knows his onionsI won’t link as it’s the Sun and I don’t want you to all feel as dirty as I now do, but these comments are from him in worker regarding the Been paying out on account of Martin Bashir being a whelp, so unless it’s a PR company on his behalf, hopefully he’s not too far gone with this horrible disease:
Venables said: “I am delighted that the BBC are reaching settlements with various injured parties – that’s the very least they can do.
“It begs the question of who else has suffered from the duplicitous journalistic tactics that appear to have been commonplace then.”
I think we all feel this way sometimes... Good to have space to express it... SC at its best. Not going to repeat what others have said. Was great for us, was great for England, was great full stop!
We've seen Greavsie literally wilt away before our eyes & now this.
Seems life has a way of making the best people end up with the worst things possible.
I fucking hate this world sometimes.
Sounds like Norman knows his onions
El Tel was larger than life for years and years, then pretty much fell off the face of the earth
Top player, manager & a really sharp character
Terrible disease
He has Alzheimer’s according to this tweet. ?
That's sad. Seems to be getting quite common amongst a certain generation of footballers. Obviously Joe Kinnear was recently diagnosed.
Normal Giller is quite well linked to players from that era I believe, so I guess he would know how TV is.Sad if true. The guy who tweeted this doesn’t seem to have much of a clue about Alzheimer’s though. TV would probably remember most memories from years ago but not remember what happened 5 minutes ago
Horrible,, awful thing. It really does depend on how advanced the condition is. If it is severe, there's every chance he wouldn't remember much from years back. My Dad couldn't remember whether he had a brother or not despite having been close all their long lives. It wrecks everything.Sad if true.
