I fear a few of our younger members may be unfamiliar with Paul Whitehouse's comedy stylings as Ron Manager...or indeed the times when his inspiration Jimmy Hill was a regular pundit.

To you I commend You Tube for further research

Hes no better than eriksen or bentaleb. No point buying yet another midfielder. Spend all the money on a striker, price tag and salary

If by "no better" you mean "equally good", I wouldn't say no to another Eriksen!

In terms of spending all the money on a striker, remember that the top, established players are unlikely to come to us, so we need to look at the level below. Those players probably aren't at the level where we'd want to spend our entire budget on them

Spurs are a club who, if we want to have the highest quality, need to buy those guys when they're young and when there's a chance to sign them. I've no idea how good this Rabiot chap is, but it's definitely not a question of getting three young players or signing Lionel Messi.

Why do we need to spend all the money on a striker? We have one of the best in the premier league on current form? We need a second string striker that can perform off the bench and that shouldn't take up all our budget?

We need general strengthening and replacements for players like Ade, Capoue, Kaboul that will likely be removed from the squad if everything goes to plan.

Yes we do need to strengthen squad, a ST, CB, DMF. This will allow 2 players for every position bar strikers, of which we need 4... Young academy players can make up the squad. When our new stadium is built and we have financial ability above present levels, then we can look at top quality players , and their wages. Even so we are better off with the business model of Levy / ENiC / Poch. sign young players bring them through to top quality (or 1st team), then sell as and when necessary, with the squad still strong...

We can talk to G Bale bring him home, as the new stadium will be a fantastic place with him playing for us. So he can win a PL and FA cup / Euro League medals.. Wishful i know, but not impossible !
