Newcastle fans think Harper's been finished for years now. Not that Rob Eliot is great, but Harper coming in (having not played for ages) for the Arsenal game is most definitely NOT good news for us.

With Sunderland only picking up a point, our ideal result would be an Arsenal Wigan draw. That effectively relegates Wigan and leaves us with the task of beating a Sunderland team with nothing to play for in order to reach the CL.

QPR are hopeless. Heard an interview with Pardew earlier said they will give everthing to win their last 2 games. I would much rather be in our shoes next week

Worried now that Wigan have to win. Hope we don't get a situation where Wigan are drawing but push everyone forward knowing they need a win and then leave gaps at the back for arsenal to nick a winner...

Results couldn't have gone worse. Lets hope Newcastle don't rotate. Having been dicked by Sunderland and Liverpool last two games - lets hope they try and cheer their fans up

Also would have been easier if Wigan could just need a draw - now even if they are drawing they are going to have to go for a win

Newcastle playing at SJP on the last day of the season with the pressure off might play into our hands. They have some very good players who are more than capable of doing a number on Arsenal next Sunday.

Just need them to not win one of those two games, the pressure is bang on them and they were shite against qpr and even after going 1 up. I'm confident.

I can't decide if its a bad or a good thing. It might be good if they want to finish on a high and might be easier with no pressure on them

My only worry now is Wigan have to beat Arsenal which might make them a bit too open. I would have been happier if Wigan only had to avoid defeat.

It could be either, just have to wait a week to find out.

Will mean they can go for the win without throwing the kitchen sink at them and leaving a large Walnut sized whole.
