Weird, I had considered that but then I convinced myself it was after the season ends. Didn't it used to be? Or did I make that up?.

It used to be but they messed around a few seasons ago.

You've missed Man C v WBA which is TBA

What are the options if they reach both cup finals then?

1. Chelsea end up with a crazy schedule like this one. Not going happen imo

Sat 4: Man U
Mon 6: Spurs
Weds 8: Villa
Sat 11: Fa Cup Final

2. Villa game with Chelsea is moved to something like Weds 22 May

3. Final set of Prem games get put back to Tuesday 21st to allow Chelsea to play Villa on Saturday 19th

Sorry but if Chelsea reach both cup finals I can't see them finishing top 4. All options look nasty (ah well!).

They won't move the Prem games nor would they allow the Villa game to be played on the 22nd May.

Your first scenario looks plausible but then as I said it's gonna impact our schedule as that fixture will take place after the Southampton game.

The only thing I can think of is that they re-arrange the villa game on Monday the 13th, that's if they reach the EL final of course.

If Chelsea get to both finals they will have a mid week and a weekend game for the rest of the season. 15 games in 45 days. That's including our game int he 5 but not in the scheduling. So somehow they'll need to squeeze us in despite them having a mid week and weekender every week. I reckon they'd bump the FA Cup final til after the season ends. They can't really move the end of the league, affects too many teams, UEFA surely wouldn't let them move the EL so FA it has to be. Or the could just have the FA and EL finals simultaneously and have one team play one and a 2nd the other :)

Ok I've turned it into a tool (steady on) so you can W, D or L in the blue boxes and it should give you a final tally at the bottom with the colours awesomely changing colour to indicate the final standings.

I didn't bother making it smart enough to notice if you say that two teams will both win the same game or anything so just don't be stupid :)

Let me know if the file doesn't work.

Below was my final outcome.

Wow, I appreciate what some people do for this forum (which makes it the best spurs forum by far) but man have people got far too much time on their hands! No wonder this country is going to the dogs!

You also didn't do Sunderland at Home for Chelsea, which is more than likely 3 points and also leaves them on 71

We'll still get top 4. We were picking up points and winning games in the first third of the season and Bale was largely anonymous up until Boxing Day, which everyone seems to have forgotten about.

Sigurdsson will come in for Bale in the CAM role, Holtby did a very disciplined job last night with staying out wide as much as possible and Dempsey's best position for us is arguably as a wide forward.

We lose a lot of pace and cutting edge if neither Bale or Lennon play again this season but we can still put out a team capable of beating most teams.

I can really, really see Holtby and Sigurdsson stepping up and filling the void in the next few games.

What is worrying is after a period of relative solidarity we are starting to leak goals

4 to Milan 3 to Liverpool 2 to Basel & West Ham...it's the old Spurs failing all over again

Just need to take it one game at a time. No point looking too far ahead as you just cannot predict who will be fit for us or the rivals. win on Sunday, that's a must by the way, and we will still be sitting in a CL spot till 17th April at the least....

Need these squad players, Holtby/Sigg/Clint, to step up and start earning their corn now.

Would like to see Dembele playing a little bit further up the pitch. I think there's more goals in him.

YEa I always expect there to be goals in him but I am not so sure there is, history does't suggest so anyway

2 goals for us now? 5 for Fulham the whole time he was there (60 odd games), 1 in 5 in the Dutch league and 5 in 45 for his country

While every now and then he strikes the ball so perfectly you think he must have goals in him it just seems these are far too infrequent and it doesn't seem like he'll ever develop into a consistent scorer (he's already 25)

Theres been occasions this season where he's got the important goals, and by God do we need that between now and the end of the season

I still maintain that Dembele moves sideways too much. With his dribbling skills he should drive into the box more where he'll earn a few penalties when defenders can't stop him legally.

Don't worry about what Chelsea are doing, as they showed last season they are more than capable of winning everything. We need to worry about what we are doing. Quiet honestly I would love Chelsea's schedule because that means we are successful.

1 time

The Norwich goal on his debut was almost important but it was soon cancelled out anyway

His only important goal (his only other goal) was the one in Lyon which got us through the Europa round and didn't impact out race for fourth (what this thread is about)

I can't remember him scoring another goal?
