This is why im desperate for Villa to beat them tomorrow night.plus that puts Rangers and Reading down.(y)

Really hope Villa can get a draw tomorrow evening. Would be nice with United playing live at Arsenal, with RVP returning, knowing a win would win them the title.

If they win tomorrow night they'll be partying all week and I'll fear the worst for Sunday.

I dunno what's better winning the title there or having the guard of honour there

The only thing that matters is them beating Arsenal - and Chelsea

Don't ask me why, but I have a funny feeling that QPR will give the Goons a game week after next. I know in theory they should get a pasting, ripped open etc, just think playing with more freedom and no pressure might actually make a big difference to them.

Last season most of the things went our way.

A collective 'run araand a bit' instruction can do wonders, as we all know.

I am tended to agree with you, also for the fact all their overpriced players will effectively be in the shop window from now till league finish so will have that extra insentive to secure a good move.

We'll win the rest of our games now.

Maybe draw 1 but no more. The squad will be buzzing now, JD will hit his purple patch, Ronaldo got a goal and assist playing at about 40% and we got azza blud to come back. Plain sailing. We're on easy street now lads;)

Really need United to beat Arsenal next week. If they do that gives us the buffer of allowing us to lose 1 game but still get CL if we win the other 4 and Arsenal win their other 3.

Arsenal will be shitting themselves now. They've been struggling through games, albeit winning, but they still think/hope we will fuck up.

I think they could drop points against QPR, UTD or Newacastle. Us on the other hand will go on another unbeaten run, much like we did earliern in the season.

It would be brilliant for Villa to win tomorrow night - meaning Man Utd will need (and want) to go and beat Arsenal (if Man City earlier beat Spam). Would be almost perfect for us...

A draw will do nicely as well:)

Psychologically that is huge. We have had a break and are high on confidence. While Chelsea must be knackered and gutted to drop 2 points in the 97th min

A draw might in fact be better - Arse have to play Wigan and Chelsea have to play Villa, both in a couple of matches time, so, as we want to beat Wigan (31 pts) next, and they're already in danger of being dropped by Villa (34pts), we could do with Villa getting the minimum that will force Utd to play for the league at the emirates.

Regardless of whether United win tonight they will still go all guns blazing at Arsenal on Sunday, first game in defense of their title, too much rivalry between Fergie and Wenger, RVP will want to make his presence felt, guard of honour for RVP too, lovely.

Fergie is too professional to let his side party all week and take their eye of the ball, he'll want to smash Arsenal and prove why they are the best team in the league. At the end of the day as long as we do our job and win at Wigan on Sat and pile the pressure back on the Gooners then happy days.

BTW: I didnt see any footy on Sat and just read that Giroud got a late red for the Gooners - anyone know if it was a straight red and 3 match ban?? Could be massive for us.

Yeah it was a straight red so he's gone for a while :)

Looking at the Gooners last four games and how they picked up the points:

Fulham down to 10 men early and comical defending.
Not many chances vs Everton.
Help from the officials against Norwich.
WBA should have scored from 2 yards out to draw.

Even after winning the title I think Utd will be too good to let any of the above happen to them.
