Not at all. They're just – rightly – pointing out that West Brom will still have the slimmest of slim chances at surviving, and have become an organised, effective team since ditching Pardew (surprise). It's not a gimme at all.
It may actually work in our favour that they have not been relegated yet; if they know that they absolutely must win against us to stand any chance of survival, I cant then see them putting every single player behind the ball.

If we don't get CL football in the position we are currently in and the games left.....i would seriously be concerned on where this squad would go onwards.....it would be a royal fuck up.

But lets be positive .....we are going to get top 4 , and we're gonna win tonite.(y)

Considering the fact that even if Salah doesn't get banned, he's still only got two more PL games left including a game away to Chelsea, whereas Kane has 4 games left against Watford, WBA, Newcastle and Leicester...

I personally feel that Kane needs a couple tonight if he wants to catch Salah.

Lionel Messi bagged a hat trick last night to move past Salah by one goal in the hunt for the golden shoe whatever that is.

I wouldn't even call it that, it's so so slim that it's effectively zero.

To stay up, West Brom have to beat us at home and Palace away to reach 34 points. Then Swansea have to get no more than 34, meaning they can't win any of their remaining three games - but they play at home to Southampton, who also can't win any of their matches. So that has to be a draw, meaning Swansea then have to lose away to Bournemouth and at home to Stoke, while Southampton have to get at most one point from away to Everton and home to Man City, as well as either being overtaken by West Brom on goal difference or losing both of those games. But because Stoke have to beat Swansea, they then have to lose or draw at home to Crystal Palace.

A lot of the bookies have put their survival at 100/1, but that's still awful value. Bet365 are the only semi-reasonable ones at 500/1. Unfortunately they generally won't let you just put all the results needed into an accumulator, presumably to stop people from getting far more attractive odds. But taking the prices on Betfair, if they did let you do such an accumulator (which also allows for Southampton to draw against both Everton and City which would send WBA down), the odds would be approximately 2586/1. In reality the chances of West Brom staying up are probably even smaller than that - it doesn't account for that niche scenario with Southampton or more importantly for the bookie's profit margin, which is huge on large accumulators. But even if you took it as 2500/1, that's a 0.04% chance of West Brom surviving.

The sickener for them being that if they'd got rid of that muppet Pardew just a couple of weeks earlier they'd have had an actual chance at it.

Klopp assistant has left Liverpool. They’ve been together 17 years. Left 2 days before CL semi final very odd. And Can has agreed to a move to juve on a free. So that’s a £35m player they’ve lost for nothing that will need replacing not great for them.

Isn't that the point of Naby Keita?

So you’re saying there’s a chance?

Keita isn’t a DM. But then I guess Can never was although he was supposed to be. Keita is much more an OX type player imo. I really don’t think you can win PL with Henderson as your DM. I’d say Can was the most DM like player they had.
