It's a must not lose for sure.

In what regards though? From a points perspective? Because we could be above Liverpool by then anyway. Or from a mental standpoint?

I just don't think our season is determined by the outcome of this particular game, especially as it's one we always lose.

Our focus should be United. They are the team that is on verge of a collapse. If United drop points like they have been doing last 3 games, we need to capitalise on them. As long as we do that, it will take care of top4 on its own.

I may regret saying this but people are over rating Liverpool, they are sneaking results and about to lose their best player, I'm confident we'll be ahead by the end of the season.

Are you referring to Spurs Community or the general public? I'd say on here people tend to under-rate them. They're looking good this season, unfortunately.

Get a win tomorrow, that puts a gap on Arsenal & closes gap to United. Wanyama (tomorrow) & Toby to be available very soon. So, things can only improve for us.

I dont think anyone under rates Liverpool. After their defeat to us they have played 12 games, won 8, drawn 4, lost 0. Draws were against Arsenal, Chelsea,WBA & Everton. So thats brilliant. But the fact is, if we somehow win the games in hand in next 4 days, we will be just 1 point behind them. For all their good work, we have not lost pace with them. With Wanyama & Toby coming back we will only improve. Key though is, to win the next 2 games. If we stick with Liverpool for timebeing, we can fly under the radar. Once CL starts again with FA cup, I am confident they will start losing their invincibility

People need to calm down. Providing we win the next two, we've put ourselves right back in the mix.

I really do think United are the most vulnerable.

Balls on line, I think top four will be:

City
Chelsea
Spurs
Liverpool

I agree with you about our ability to keep pace with them. However I disagree on the point about people under rating them. I've lost count of the times I've seen people dismiss Liverpool's chances this season.

We have two winnable games in the next few days which if we get maximum points from will pull us up behind Liverpool by a point, the only downside is two games in 2 days could lead to silly injuries being picked up which we really do not need so maybe a bit of squad rotating will be in order.

People had every reason to question Liverpool, given how they were conceding till November. They have had a turn around since then, so am sure they will recognise that

Our focus should be on Spurs and not looking at the table. Win the matches we should win and table will take care of itself. Can't control what the others do.

Not holding my breath ;)

Questioning them is understandable. I get it. I can't stand them and keep hoping they'll suffer a slump in form but they look a bit more resilient this season.

Agree with that. What's the use of being despondent. Keep up the spirit, and another run like last year should see us there.

Jeez we don't play because our game is moved back a few days and people start panicking again because those around us who actually do have a game pick up points.

Have a beer and calm down.

We've two games in hand on Utd. A chance to cut the gap to second down to four points.

With us playing them at the end of the month it's imperative we don't slip up.

Our two games before the Utd match are:
Everton (h)
Southampton (a)

They have Stoke at home and Burnley away.

Stoke is 99% a gimme but Burnley could be tricky.

But first and foremost we must deliver tomorrow and Thursday.

Let's just see how we do this week before we start panicking, okay?

But, sure, if we fail to beat teams like Swansea or West Ham, we have no business thinking about top four or whatever.

Absolutely, City drawing with Palace means they can no longer win the league.
