Just avoid defeat on Sunday and we're set up nicely. Fancy Chelsea to miss out rather than Utd or Liverpool, very erratic form this season.

Could see a bit of a meltdown there

Conte is in a permanent strop and they seem to be struggling with striker options.

Incidentally, I'm not sure why Chelsea didn't slap £75m on Bourusia's table and say "We're having Aubameyang"

Is it me or do Chelsea have a second season syndrome after winning the league? Were poor after the last one, and now this.

That's their culture, the players seem to relax after they've won the league. Goes to show the mentality of the kind of players they have IMO

No offense but I live for the day I can see our players' mentality the year after they've won the league. Please let that be our problem.

I think both times its down to the manager. Both Jose and now Conte seem to have one foot out the door before the end of the 2nd season.

The weekend would be a good time to start doing something that we don't normally do, which is to pick up 3 points away from home at one of the top six.

Interesting to know if Conte has lost the dressing room (as apparently Maureen did as well).

Oh well, i shouldn't worry about that plastic classless excuse for a football club.

This weekends game is pretty massive now, but i will take a draw. Then the return game against Chelscum could make or break our season.

Before you right chelsea off. They’ve had an absolutely horrendous fixture schedule. Worse than any other club. Last night was their 22nd back to back game(3 days rest) since mid November. Let alone the players I’d imagine conte is totally exhausted. They could sell Pick up after a week rest. Alternatively this run could have totally sapped them for rest of season.

They've definitely got some outstanding players and some of their build-up play yesterday was quality

But you just wonder how long Conte can continue his public moaning before the whole house of cards comes crashing down

Of course you can’t right them off after last season and the quality they have, but in regards the fixtures it’s the manager who focuses the club’s energy, and at the moment Conte is sucking it away in his comments and demeanour.

Chelsea fixtures look interesting. This would also coincide with us having 4 relatively easy fixtures after NLD. If we can stay within 2 pts. Every chance could be above them after this.

Within two points of top 4, that's amazing. It is a bit sad, because it brings back the memories of Chelsea defeating us at Wembley. That's really the only tie breaker this season, otherwise we are better than Chelsea. As long as we stay within two points, truly anything can happen. :woot:

Chelsea already spend 70% of their turnover on wages, even with the Russian roubles it's hard to sustain that in the long run. By far the highest % of the top six, even more than Liverpool.

I thibk they know he's not gonna be there next season so that's a ready made excuse not to play for him, football players don't need much of a reason to down tools and I reckon this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
