Only fools day lol

That's why I'm glad it's the NLD. We'll be up for it.
I'd be much more worried if it was Leicester at home or someone.
Definitely. Trouble is, when we have a chance like this, we envariably fuck it up and don’t take advantage of it unfortunately.
No limit, it's just that we can only sell tickets to people already on our client database ~6 weeks before the game. Which was actually a problem back at the start of the season for the Chelsea match as there were quite a number of people who'd not been to a match any time recently who wanted to go and couldn't, but doesn't really matter now since nearly everyone interested will have been to a game at Wembley this season.Think someone mentioned its a limited crowd (70,000?) due to it being a Derby
Yes fcuking please.Pretty sure Tim Sherwood is though...
Just like we despatched them last season meaning that they could no longer finis above us you mean?
That had no real meaning though Shady and you know it, that’s just bragging rights and we were well clear of them at that point, the signifance of finishing above Arsenal means hardly anything to the players like it does to the fans, if it did then we wouldn’t have allowed them to finish above us when Newcastle spanked us 5-1 after we lost out on the title to Leicester.
I am talking about games that have meaning such as when we were 2-1 up to a ten man Arsenal and 1 point clear at the top of the league only to blow it.
I don’t know why you refuse to acknowledge this is a problem with us, you hear the word “legends” and it triggers a hulk rage inside of you, it’s about context and the circumstances surrounding these games.
This is my concern, when I have spoken about us “bottling the big games” in recent years this is the exact game I am talking about, one with significant importance that will give us the edge over direct competition, it’s a cup final situation basically.
If we manage to dispatch Arsenal this weekend then I will finally believe we have turned a corner in terms of our mentality and believe we have what it takes to push on and win something in the future.
Yes that's right, of course no real meaning seeing as Chelsea had won earlier in the day and we had to respond to keep our title hopes alive, closed it to 4 points if I recall, losing or dropping points in a big NLD match like that would have been typical of your rationale for bottling it not winning.
Impressive selective memory about meaningful matches we've played in and funny how you have to go back two seasons just to try and force your point even more. Two years ago is a long time ago fella, you know a lot has happened to our club since then don't you?
You just can't pick and choose certain games just because it suits your agenda, having a stronger mentality is a gradual change and goes hand in hand with your progress as a club, yes there will be big matches we will lose sometimes and some we will win but this is called football and seeing as we are the team who will be always up against it due to our resources compared to our rivals it's just careless to throw the term around, you really come across as a rival fan trying to get a cheap shot in at our club sometimes.
Sorry mate but now you’re just talking bollocks (with the bolded part)
I don’t have selective memory I just understand that we haven’t made that final step that is required of us to become more than just “what if’s” yes it’s a gradual process but that’s the point I am trying to make that keeps going over you.
You are a good poster mate but we aren’t going to agree on this ever, you are adament that we have solved all of our mentality issues and I know that isn’t the case yet, we have made huge leaps forward and progress but we still aren’t the finished article in that respect.
Just like we despatched them last season meaning that they could no longer finish above us you mean?
It’s funny how a lot of us are forgetting the 1st half against Liverpool.. For the majority of that half, we were a mess. Constantly passing back to Hugo, he kept clipping it wide and putting our FB’s under pressure with bad passes and the fact they were marked. We did the same away to City, and it screwed us up, Liverpool just didn’t make the most of it.
So, if we play like we have for the past 1&1/2 games, then we’ll do well. Play like we did 1st half on Sunday, and we’ll be in the brown stuff.
