Falcao. Good Morning.

http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/pre...nham-transfer-news-spurs-join-falcao-race.php

Tottenham Hotspur could make a surprise cut-price bid for Colombian striker Radamel Falcao after reports he wants to quit his new club Monaco after just two months.
Falcao is said to be unhappy in the principality amid reports his £12 million-a-year salary could be cut in half by changes proposed by president Francois Hollande.
The player, joined from Atletico Madrid for close to £50 million, is also said to be disappointed by the club's lack of ambition, despite the addition of a number of players over the summer.
Spurs have long admired Falcao but baulked at his massive price tag. However, should Spurs complete the sale of Welsh winger Gareth Bale to to Real Madrid in an £85 million deal, it would put the north London side in a good position.
A Spurs source told SportsDirect News: "If Monaco have to sell, they won't really be in a position to negotiate hard."
Chelsea and Manchester City have also been linked with the player.

These stories are so easy to make up for these lazy journalists. During the transfer window it really is money for old rope in their game

Fascinating insight there, clearly from someone with a keen business mind. I'm glad we have such clever people at the club.

Isn't Monaco tax free? That would make his 12m a year actually worth about 25m a year in the UK. Yeah!................500k a week shouldn't be much of a problem for us!

"Spurs have long admired Falcao but baulked at his massive price tag"

Remove 'Spurs' and insert 'every other team in the entire world bar Monaco'

The same website that made up the Rooney to Newcastle story and then had to issue an apology as it was found to be complete bullshit? Ha!

when did SportsDirectNews become a source? I mean, look at it, Sports.. Direct.. News with a link to the online shop on their homepage.

Anyway, Falcao's next move will be to Real Madrid. That was always the plan but Atletico couldn't sell to Real and Real couldn't pursue him.
