HSV had announced a special press conference today and with comments from Thorsten Fink earlier this morning that he really wants VDV many assumed that the press conference was about the unveiling of VDV as their new player.

Turned out that the big news they were announcing today was about something else instead to celebrate their 125th anniversary. Something about a HSV-campus and their fans can buy shares (or something?) of the club. I had a look on several of their forums, they have some topics about wanting VDV back that have almost 1k in replies.

I disagree. To use the "square peg in a round hole" analogy, when you have a peg as good as VDV you fix the hole, you don't discard the peg. I'm excited we got Sigurdsson as well, but he's not good enough to replace VDV.
