Good player, not anywhere near as good as his brother. TalkShite, so pretty much says it all.

This link is about as flakey as it gets and it's no more reliable than the links to Morgan Sanson and yet that thread was locked. Any mods want to shed any light on why that is? Sanson's agent has actually name checked us in respect of interest according to this article:

https://www.football.london/tottenh...s/who-morgan-sanson-frenchman-linked-14767589

Agent Michael Manuello has been talking about a potential transfer this summer. He said: "Tottenham really follow Morgan, Arsenal follow him too. Now I do not know what Unai Emery will want. Chelsea will not advance more than that [their interest]. They will go on to other things."

As far as Rafinha goes, he's a nice player but he's not what we need IMO. I'd be very surprised if he was a genuine target.

This is the second Rafinha thread, the first one was deleted so maybe you’ll get your wish.

I have no wish to have player threads locked, I'm merely trying to establish better what constitutes a valid link.

Talksport took the link for Rafinha from foreign media but in fairness a lot of our links to players do originate in other countries so if it then gets picked up by UK media, Talksport in this case and Football.London in Sanson's case does that then mean it's ok to remain as an open thread or does the link have to originate in UK? Just seems a bit tenuous to me.

As far as I'm aware it has to be a reputable UK source actually reporting on it, not just saying "according to reports in Spain" etc as that's just rehashing a story that may have started in some foreign dogshit rag like Don Balon. Also pretty sure Talksport isn't regarded as a reputable source.

This has popped up again in Sport, claiming Poch is a fan and he will leave Barca. Inter turned down the option to sign him, Sport reckon it’s between Spurs and Lazio although I’m not convinced there’s anything in it.

I think Inter fans loved him in his time there. He's super fragile and not sure he could be relied upon. Would prefer him over another certain Barcelona midfielder however.

Sorry to bump but just noticed that Llorente started following Rafinha on Instagram (maybe silly I know). Barca's midfield is so overcrowded at the moment after Vidal's arrival so they will most likely have to sell someone.

I thought he looked decent in the match against us. Admittedly both teams weren't exactly A teams, but he still looked decent

I would assume it's because they met and got on during/after the Spurs Vs Barca game.

Yeah and he has got some really good praise from Barca fans after his pre-season performances. Have to admit I haven't seen him much at all but it looks like he's a really versatile central midfielder and that's something Poch must be interested in surely.
