It's just such a pleasure to see our HG players out there, and see that they really care. No phoney badge kissing, or pretending. The likes of Mason (especially), Kane, Bentaleb, I think really felt this one as much as the fans.

Mason might have been all over the place in both senses of the term at times, but on balance a fantastic performance
Kane of course. Did anybody predict such heights for him so soon?
Bentaleb supremely cool.
Rose was excellent. He made a couple of early King-esque tackles to take off pressure. Was a bit at fault perhaps for their goal, but was a real attacking threat throughout.

Can't fault anyone for that team performance, long may they continue.

Kane and Mason - 9

Rose - 8.5

Lamela - 7

All the others - 8

If not for Kane's 2 goals i wouldve given Mason the MOM. Absolutely up for it and didnt give the Arse any time at all on the ball.

Lamela was ok but definitely not worth 30mil. But it was his peach of a corner that made the 1st goal.

Even though Lamela was poor, he still ran his heart out.

That's all you can ask from players.
Lamela's attacking contribution was poor, I agree, but his contribution to the system is invaluable imo. We look so much more balanced with him in the side.

Absolutely loving this new forward role for Dembele he's a beast in there, it's like watching men against boys ,just looks effortless not just most of the time but all the time. Hope he starts in same role against them scummy dippers.

I had a convo with an arsenal fan who claimed cockelin is better than mason
Been perusing the ArseMania forum and they cannot believe that their CM was bested by Mason and Bentaleb the week after mastering Fernandinho and Fernando.

Although quite level headed admitting we won the game in CM

Dembele always was an attacking midfielder at Fulham so I don't know why he was pushed so far back.

He is an outstanding dribbler.

Mason MoM

Kane 9
Everybody else was an 8 or nearly

Only slightly negative things to say were that Dembele was a bit frustrating, Lamela didn't seen too have a lot of pace when running with the ball and Rose was AWOL at LB quite a lot, particularly first half, though excellent going forward.

Did you notice how many Gooner players who were marking Lamela when he got the ball? It looks as if he always had at least 2, if not 3, player closing down his space. Not easy to run with the ball then...
