Can't see one and didn't see the game. Apologies if there is one.
For Kane to get the same rating as Soldado is criminal, at least Kane broke sweat and tried to create things, was involved in the goal and tested the keeper.I believe most of us followed this by a combination of text and radio. I can bring you the ratings and paraphrases of comments from Collomosse in London Evening Standard if that is of any interest:
Vorm: 6. Little to do. Goal not his fault.
Vlad: 6. Eccentric display with strange decisions.
Fazio: 7. Increasingly dominant, but made an error before the goal.
Jan: 7. Improving with Fazio, but error prone.
Davies: 8. Best player of the night, growing in confidence.
Dembele: 7. Mobile and used the ball well.
Stambouli: 6. Taken off due to an early yellow card.
Chadli: 7. Attacking outlet & enduring effectiveness.
Paulinho: 4. Gave the ball away.
Eriksen: 6. Hard working in 3 different roles.
Soldado: 5. No service, made nothing happen.
Townsend: 6. Struggled.
Kane: 5. Some wrong choices/wasting chances.
What did you listen to it on? I listened to the first half on bbc 94.9 (fm) and the commentary was, as usual, pretty good and informative.I think only people that actually travelled away to the game should bother giving ratings. If any one did what I did and listened on the radio all they heard was the commentators talking about the coldest game they've been to and how little was happening on the pitch. Possibly the worst radio commentary I've heard and you couldn't judge anyone on anything they said.
Tell that to Collomosse, I was as I said quoting a newspaper for those who found it interesting. If you don't, move on.For Kane to get the same rating as Soldado is criminal, at least Kane broke sweat and tried to create things, was involved in the goal and tested the keeper.
I forgot I wasn't allowed an opinion on content posted.Tell that to Collomosse, I was as I said quoting a newspaper for those who found it interesting. If you don't, move on.
You can, I'm just not prepared to debate the ratings, since they are not my own.I forgot I wasn't allowed an opinion on content posted.
I didn't ask you to. I merely gave my opinion on those ratings, regardless of who gave them. You can, I'm just not prepared to debate the ratings, since they are not my own.
Good for you.I didn't ask you to. I merely gave my opinion on those ratings, regardless of who gave them.
I never do these, but I guess with it not being broadcast it might be helpful.
Soldado - 3: Didn't get involved at all. A few half hearted flick ons here and there but wasn't showing for the ball at all. He was effectively waiting for something to happen instead of putting in a shift.
Good for you.
Let's simply stop this, we are spamming the thread. See you in another thread.Well this is a forum mate.
