Vdv my motm.

It’s probably normal for a derby away in the last 15 mins but when Maddison went off, it showed how little creativity we have. Hopefully Lo Celso when fit sorts that.

Everyone was pretty great today. Udoghi was so good after his yellow, he could’ve easily faltered but didn’t and kept attacking lots too. Maddison and Son were great for the goals. Biss was Biss and Sarr was a little sloppy at times but what a performance to put in midfield away at Arsenal for someone his age.

Johnson will get better when he plays in his normal position. Put in a decent shift.

Harsh on Romero for their goals but he was good aside from those.

Vdv was awesome. What a player he is and will be.
When is lo celso ever fit.

Really, like what? He might've had the ball more than Johnson but he did fuck all with it and his piss poor ball possession led to their first. And you'd expect him to have done more than Solomon who came on as a sub halfway in the second half...
He had no one outside of him to play to, think Porro should have given him an option. Otherwise I thought he was quite good.

VDV was clear MotM for me, don’t think he lost a single duel and showed good quality on the bal.

Bissouma - Immense!

but big shout to each and every one of our players today (and the gaffer). So brave all match - a joy to watch!

Agreed. I gave it to Son though for actually scoring the goals. However, I could also have given it to Madisson.

Or even Bissouma, who seemed to get stronger as the game went on.

Good all round performance - no slackers.

Went for Sonny but could have easily been Vic, VDV, Udogie, Biss, or Maddison.

Stunning performance in the context of being only 5 games in to the project against goons 5 years. We went toe to toe with our biggest rivals, in their backyard and perhaps could feel a little disappointed with not taking all 3 points. That was never a pen imo. WTF was clear and obvious about that? VAR had to look at it 24358 times before even telling ref to go look at it. Biss was right behind him too and likely would have blocked it had it gone through Romero.

Biss's feint and burst in the 95th minute was filthy. Love it.

Son and Maddison, obviously.
but so many deserving cases
Udogie, DVD, Bissouma eventually,
Kulu, Vicario and Cuti overall
was getting a headache
so plumped for 'Teamwork'

Kulu played well. What game were you watching?

Finally I think we may have found a bak line for the next few years. After Lloris, Walker, Toby, Jan and Rose I didn't think we would ever have a consistent back line as good. These guys will get better as they go on

All in all a team effort for me. Everyone put in a shift and made Arsenal look very ordinary. Still work to do but an excellent away performance

Went with teamwork and looking at the current distribution of ratings, probably the right call.

In all the previous games the offense has m, rightly, got all the plaudits. After todays performance away at that lot’s place, where we rarely show up let alone get a result, the defense deserve the plaudits. All the back 5 were immense but I’ve given MOM to VdV although it was tough call between him and Udogie. It’s hard to believe that many were complaining we went for the cheaper option when we bought him. At the moment he’s worth his weight in gold. We finally have Jan’s replacement. And he’s only going to get better!
