I think most fans are pleasantly surprised with GLC whereas Gil is pretty much what we expected.
Having said that I'm happy with an 'ok' winger. A squad-level player to fill some gaps. If he even gets to average PL level he would already justify the swap with Lamela.
i'm with you on all counts - i think as a 5th/6th choice attacker hes fine, however i also think giving that spot to someone who could have a higher ceiling than Gil also makes sense (not priority by any means).

Ideally we dont have him leaving on a free given what we spent on him and its unlikely he signs again being that far down the pecking order.

But we’re not in the CL?
Yeah that’s why I have nothing against him. I think he is around the right level for us. He fills some gaps in the team and may improve beyond that but who knows. For now I can’t see him starting for any top half side let alone for us.

Kulu MotM by a mile for me. Vic a hero again. Thought Davies and Porro were good. Emerson kept fucking it 1st half but fair play he kept going and didnt resort to humping it up. Credit where it's due. This was Biss worst performance for us. He was awful.

Not liking the Gil slating. He's 22 with 4 PL starts. Give the kid a break.

Rode our luck massively 1st half but we've been on the other end of these situations too. When you don't put your chances away there's always the chance of the other team coming back into it. Haaland should be asking himself why he missed an absolute sitter rather than being pissy at the ref.

Commemtators on my stream kept saying "Spurs need to play it long" and we were screaming at the telly no we don't. This is how we play and keeping on playing like that, even when losing against city isn't just about this match, its about the months and years ahead. This result will give our players massive belief in the system imo. Funnily enough just before Kulu equalised the commentator changed his tune to "You've got to credit the belief and bravery of Spurs playing this way to the bitter end"

In loose order:

- Gio
- Deki
- Davies
- Porro
- Vicario
- Royal
- Sonny

Then the rest. Once again, PEH did well when he came on.

Kulu has ball-magnet feet. He’s one of those players that doesn’t look like a footballer but, somehow, creates beauty from rough. Like him a lot and is my motm v city

Seriously Davies our 4th worst player. Sorry you must be on drugs 😅. He was a calming influence at the back especially in the first half when everyone else was making careless errors and his superb diving header set up the move for the second goal.
Depends how you look at it... 4th worst? Or, 7th best?

As for the drugs... yes, a lot actually; Venaflaxine, Diazapam, Tramadol, Percocet. Not to mention the edibles.
