It was difficult for me to distinguish the teams as I am so use to us playing full white in Europe. I joined the game late and thought we were playing good football, then the penny dropped. :(

Went with Hojbjerg, partially for the goal, partially for 100% effort for 90 minutes, and partially just for being a Viking.

Not going to quibble with anyone else's choices - great win in the end.

First half was a total dumpster fire where no one but possibly Lloris deserved any credit.

Second half much better and I felt the more experienced heads got us over the line. Perisic, Lenglet, Davies and Dier were very good. Bentancur immense again. Kane and PEH showed their quality and fitness on the winning goal. The team as a whole were much braver on and off the ball.

2 PL games to grind through and hopefully we can really kick on after the World Cup. This team can play much better and I think we will in 2023.

I think an honourable mention for Bissouma is deserved. Slowly but surely he's getting into the sort of groove we all know he's capable of. I liked what I saw from him this evening.

Bentancur eventually got hold of the game by the scruff of the neck. My choice for MOM. Hojbjerg just never quits. Another good game from Lenglet who showed he can be a good option at CCB. Nuts if we don't try to sign him permanently.

lloris motm.
written off by carrigher and henry before the game, this was a timely reminder of how little those muppets know about the game.

Bit off the cuff but Im going for Lloris based on the fact that he was the only player who played 90mins.

Bentancur MOTM again. The only player currently having a continuous spell of good form, he's almost carrying us.

Lots of great performances in the second half. I went for Emerson Royal, just because he was the last person we ever expected to do well in this game.

Hugo was excellent and kept us in the game. Bentancur was superb. PEH was top notch. Kane worked hard even if he wasnt at his best, he won th efree kick for the first and second - played a great ball and aI know it looked easy but Bentancur had a similiar ball and fucked it up earlier.

I think what ou rperformance does show is that our players are good players, they can play, can create, can battle and can create in the toughest of environments.

Now lets beat liverscum cos I despise them

Bentancur MOM.

Lloris: 8 - A Jekyll performance this week. Great saves.
Sessegnon: 4 - Surprised if Conte doesn't strangle him after this game for his 'defending'. For someone quick, he just grabs people instead of tracking them and holding them up/trying to win the ball back. I think it's pathetic. OK going forward.
Dier: 6.5 - Some shocking passes/clearances that could have landed us in deep shit. Apart from that, I thought he was pretty good.
Lenglet: 7.5 - Look composed and extra points for the goal.
Davies: 6.5 - Some good, some bad (particularly shit clearances/passing).
Perisic: 8 - Great delivery from corners and generally strong all match. Also the block to save the goal at the end and the ball for Leglet's goal.
Hojbjerg: 8.5 - Industrious ++, plus a glorious finish that could have been two.
Bentancur: 9 - Rolls Royce.
Lucas: 6 - While not a huge amount of quality, he ran his bollocks off, harried OM and jumped for every header... unlike the chap below.
Son: 5 - Same as usual until the unfortunate head clash. Hope he's all OK. May well have been a blessing in disguise for this particular game I'm very sorry to say.
Kane: 8 - Very average first half, came out of his shell in the second. Very good performance in the end.

Bissouma: 7.5 - Worked hard in the DM role.
Emerson: 7 - Great after he came on. Yeah, him.
Skipp: NET

Also want to say that if Romero isn't available, tonight's three is def. the way we need to set up.
