Thought Alli and Kane were excellent today. Alli was so close to getting my MOM if it wasn't for a few give away passes and one or two blind alleys run down. But still, a fantastic performance. Was a lovely game to watch, we destroyed them without ever getting up to top gear, one of the most relaxed, confident games I have seen from us in a long old while.

Again my MOM goes to Lamela. The kid is getting very close to our MVP this season, the fact that performances like this are the norm for him really says something about his quality. Personally I think he is better on the right, but it's a testimony to his huge step up that he can still put in a MOM performance from the left in a 3-0 win. Loved him from the day we signed him and glad he is now one of the fulcrums of our attack.

Also, props to Carrol for that great finish. Good to see him still fighting for his spot.

Can't wait for Watford and Everton.

Dier imo didn't have a bad match. I just didn't notice him as much which is probably a good thing when he plays at DM.I'd still give him an 8. Eriksen looked promising and put in some great balls, just couldn't find that assist. Again I'd still give him an 8. Every player was good today.

actually feel that loss to Newcastle has done us a favour - a long unbeaten streak may have been an albatross round the neck

only saw the second half so i dont want to give ratings but love the squad so much right now. one game at a time and lets keep that GD

Alli MOTM for me without question. He won us the game along with Kane.

Some others played well when we got ahead but those two put us in position for them to play well.

You forgot to add that it was all possible mainly due to Lamela's industry! (y)

Don't get me wrong, Lamela played well and deserves a high rating, but he was not man of the match. He needs to improve his decision making near the box. The so called pass to Kane we were 4 against 1 was bloody awful and not good enough. Kane and Alli played better.

What was awful there was the lack of clever enough movement from the other three.

Well played today from almost everyone, and Lamela my MotM - but Davies deserves some recognition as well; a superb performance today and make us a lot better as a unit when playing.

That was as much Kane's fault as Lamela. None of the other three gave Lamela an option to play the ball. Only Tom Carrol realised this and tried to overlap but it was too late. That was poor football from everyone involved.

Great performance, with either Kane, Lamela and Alli worthy of being best afield. I cannot for the life of me remember when Spurs had a +17 goal difference!

Dier was anonymous but I think that had more to do with our dominance whilst Eriksen was poor. I think Son needs to come in for Eriksen at Watford.

Bollocks! He has been one of our best decisive players. That 4 v 1 would probably flamux anyone as the three ran closely beside each other instead of spreading and giving him options. Play ground stuff.

Think Lamela showed "too much" consideration for Kane grabbing his hat trick. I think he had the best chance to score that goal himself and I wish he would have. He deserved a goal today.

Lamela played extremely well once we got 2-0 up but he was only so so before that, stuck out on the left, which I didn't understand. I honestly don't know what to say, you believe what you believe and I don't have some hissy fit about your beliefs, but, in my opinion, the players who get you into a winning position deserve the credit, and that wasn't Lamela. Like last week, it was Kane and Alli.

Lamela is like our own Mariano Rivera, he's a closer who helps us see games out with his tireless hard work.

Agree completely. They queued up in a line, all close together all to Lamela's left. It was awful positioning.

Nobody gave themselves decent distance from the covering defender or the other players. Nobody dropped back to run through or pick a pass...

Still should have scored though...

exactly, and, for me, the only reason he was looking to pass instead of going for the shot himself was because he was trying to give Kane his hat trick. If it has been 0-0 I have no doubt he would have gone for goal.

He had the option to play it early, instead he passed the ball when he stood still and when the other had stopped running (would havet been offside otherwise). He didn't know what to do, if he should shoot or pass. It was poor from Lamela, but he still played well and deserves a high rating and praise, something Eriksen don't. Kane and Alli played better, with Lamela just behind.

Credit should go to the Norwich defender. Obviously, they'd be told to show Lamela outside, which he did well and basically blocked every pass left and gave Lamela the opportunity to go past him on the outside and shoot with his right, which he didn't take. It's his biggest weakness, and other predominately one footed players, like Hazard, would have had it it in their locker to go outside and shoot on his weaker foot.

But if other people want to blame every other Spurs player bar Lamela, what can you say? Didn't really matter in the end though.
