I thought Winks did well, he was always trying to get in to space and his passing was progressive especially when the players ahead of him made some space for them selves.

Being a Tottenham supporter brings a lot of up and downs. After a long down we're now on hell of an up in my opinon. I don't know if it's the red wine or the fact wre're combining currents with nostalgia, but this was a Tottenham high for me.

I gave it to Kane, but Bale was world class. He's not the player that left us, but fucking hell - the things he's adding. Ridiculous crosses. The effort we've been crying out for since he joined. Unbelivable player. Son will be back at his best soon, and we'll be unstoppable.

Lucas showed why he was picked as well. Great game.

Lloris - 7 solid, didnt have much to do

Doherty - 4 he has the effect of SPF 100 to 99.9% of all attacks he is involved with, the team performance masked his ability today, van arnault & eze played him like fiddle on many occasions and for the goal did the same, leaving him dazed and confused in no mans land
Toby - 8 commanding and solid
Sanchez - 7 decent although lost his man at the end of the 1st half for the goal
Reguilon - 8/8.5 . I LOVE this guy, , desire, enthusiasm, passion, will to win, he make such a difference, we need to clone him

Winks - 6.5/7 Actually showed what he can do if he applies himself and keeps his concentration and focus for the whole game
PEH - 7 typical PEH , consistent and integral

Lucas - 7.5 - Pressed with intelligence today, explosive in driving forward on the whole made the right decisions throught apart from the play that led to their goal
Bale - 8.5 - Influential and Imperious, showed his class and the impact he can make, got stuck in off the ball too, great to see

Son - 7 -Effective and a threat as always, lovely assist ... I feel he is trying too hard or over doing when trying to shoot and score, this comes from the healthy competition of Kane and Bale doing the business

Kane - 9 ... That strike pure KANE CLASS, he meant it and knew exactly what he was doing, simply outstanding strike... Glad to see him in the box for a poachers type goal for his second, racking up them assists again too ?

For him not to have to do anything is a GREAT sign, Id be happy if this was the case every week, means our team is defending well, midfield is breaking up the attacks and the opposition is more preoccupied with defending our attacks rather than attacking us

Not a bad or below par performance from anyone today. Everyone made a few loose passes but generally everyone did what they had to.

Kane, Bale sublime. Their range of passing is just otherworldly at times. Bale hit Reggie I think every single time with those long clips. You love to see it.

Kane’s second, well.... there aren’t really enough superlatives.
When that went in, the roar wasn’t a “YEEEESS” as such, more just a “Oh my fucking word.”

Dav, Lucas, PEH, Toby, Reggie, Son all good.

Nothing to complain about at all.

A very welcomed, convincing win in the end. At half time I was a bit dubious about it potentially being another banana skin. Palace aren’t shit. They’re well drilled and organised. We just had too much for them today.

A real solid three points. We’re going to be made to rue all those games we threw away at the end of the season.

Just because I got so much grief in the last ratings thread.

Can’t a guy be drunk and post shit any more??

Got a chuckle a few posts up when I saw Lamela got a 8 rating in his short cameo and other players who played the entire game got less.

I agree with you that it's crazy to rate a sub higher than a player whose contributed the entire game. but in the Fulham game he was introduced and play a role in getting us over the line. That is a clever substation to make.

I've come to learn these ratings things are subjective never take them seriously. I enjoy reading them though.

Bit of an echo chamber, Kane and Bale outstanding. Loved Moura‘s and Reggie’s energy and drive. Here’s where I get controversial, I thought Doherty had a very good game and certainly contributed plenty to a good win.

Great how Lucas can use his speed to nick the ball away from defenders . He had a record breaking match for recovering the ball earlier
in the season...next match he had switched off and got subbed at HT so he isn't always like this . A great skill making him a deadly presser.

Bale is a revelation .He has been so weird for so long and then 6 months later....
