It was an outswinging corner kick. Of course it was supposed to bend away from him. As a world cup winning captain you would expect him to know the flight characteristics of the ball
This. Hugo completely fucked it.

Man of the Match: The Korean (for his all-round contribution)

Moment of the Match: The Spaniard (for his winning goal)

Muppet of the Match: The Scott (for missing the penalty on Moura)

If that had been Salah he would of given Liverpool 3 penalties. It’s becoming a joke and getting more noticeable that us and City are not getting anything off the refs but Liverpool are getting everything. I feel like I’ve been transported back to the 80’s

I think they refs might've finally caught on. They didn't give Keita a pretty stonewall penalty yesterday so I suspect there was some talk behind the scenes about Liverpools run of cheap pens.

Lamela - Didn't notice him too much to be honest.
One thing I noticed is that he was the only player other than Sissoko to put in a cross which didn't;

a) hit the first man
b) hit the second man
c) go out of play

Foster's punch ended up at Rose, who then became only the third player to to achieve the incredible feat of kicking a spherical piece of air and leather into the penalty box without killing worms or endangering fans in the first row on the far side of the pitch.

They had a stonewall pen turned down last night.

'Pool, starting with their manager, are whining that they should have had a penalty and that Maguire should have been sent off. Along with the snow which I guess was also against them, it is amazing they drew.

wow i've not seen any highlights of last night. was it Salah that got fouled

Keita...and Salah dived earlier in the match if I recall but the ref ignored it.

When a team has a serial diver or someone who has been perceived as diving then the refs always clamp down on it, we've suffered it in the past with Bale and Dele.
