I remember Ruddock back in the day, him and Pat van den Houwe were a couple of right nasty bastards who, under the excellent stewardship of Mabbutt formed quite an effective back line. For me it was always Justin Edinburgh that was the weak link in that back four - although his long service for the club kind of redeemed him.
