Doesn't somebody make this thread with every single referee? We may as well just sticky a thread with "A Premier League referee will referee our next Premier League game, why us!?!" It will save us a lot of typing in the long run.

*Sigh* it is depressing when we get these referee threads but unfortunately it really does matter to us. Clattenburg is a twat and I can see him giving one of our lads a suspicious red card and a stupid penalty. Fuck me it's only Tuesday and I am angry at this game already ;p

Sorry about that, I just changed mine yesterday! I've been using a black and white picture of Klinsmann for a while, but it was destroyed when SC changed to the new design.
I'll try to find a different pic!
I love these threads. Referees are not biased against us or for us. They are not biased for Arsenal or against Arsenal. They are not (consciously) biased for Man Utd.
They are the best referees in the country. There aren't 20 better referees down in the FL. If there we're they would work their way to the top like Webb and Atkinson. The guys in charge want the best referees in England doing these games. Of course in this absurd world we live in fans will always blame the lowest paid person on the field instead of their own players who are supposed to be some of the best in the world at what they do who make dozens of mistakes a game.

Not like Twattenburg has over recent years, we have the same thread every time we have him and there's always a few who say that it doesn't matter all refs are the same, but mark my words there will be a thread about his poor performance after the game, I just hope it's not bad enough to effect the result.
The guy shouldn't even be refereeing, he got a lifetime ban because of his corrupt dealings and issuing death threats, but the PGMOL didn't have the balls to uphold it when Twattenburg got his legal team onto them, is this really somebody who should be in charge of a professional football match, let alone in the biggest league in the world?

Yeah, and to be honest this picture confuses me as well, because I've been using this old avatar since I started my forum career (not here) a very, very long time ago. I hadn't seen your avatar when I changed, but I must say I like the picture.
