It’s fair to say that Sergio Reguilón’s loan move to Atlético Madrid has not gone how he or Tottenham might have hoped it would. Simeone has considered giving him his chance but has been held back by the Spaniard’s ‘footballing shortcomings’ and the major one is his lack of defensive skills. The club have highlighted how good he is going forwards and can make a difference and contribute a lot but he has a ‘big problem’ when it comes to defending.

Another quality piece of scouting on our behalf...
A defender that cannot defend or attack.
Is he fast and a good egg though?
Sign him up!

None of our defenders can defend either. Let's bring him back. He'll fit in perfectly!!

He was so bad last year, but it’s saying something that he may actually improve us this year ?

He had a good first season, his just lost confidence. Personally thought his defending was fine, it was just in the final third

So what it's sa+CO
UGH+ So what it's saying is, he hasn't shone there aaand they've recently changed formation... Is this a story or a recap of what's happening? Not sure I get modern "journalism" , it's just another very nothing article that's there to fill inches and I'm not sure what else.
