Rennes coach Bruno Genesio has lavished praise on Tottenham Hotspur loanee Joe Rodon for the attitude and fight he showed this season.
Genesio was quoted as saying by French outlet Foot Sur 7: “Joe also deserves a lot of respect. He is perhaps the one that deserves the most acclaim.
“For him it was difficult.
“I did not give him a gift, to anyone, and especially to him.
“He could have claimed things, he never did and he always kept an extraordinary state of mind.
“Tonight, he returns and he has been a top [professional] on and off the pitch.”
