If this had happened in Marseilles I could believe it but Lyon ? Fucking unbelievable. It is more likely to be a bunch of "arabs" as they are known in France. This is a generic name the local french give to the (very large) population of largely North African (Tunisian, Algerian, Moroccan etc) mostly (but very loosely) muslims that are spread all along the major conurbations in south of France from Toulouse to Nice.

As L10 says, more likely to be an anti-semitic thing carried out by arab gangs that by French fascists who are generally older and more into Rugby and not hooliganism.

Tottenham Hotspur fans attacked in Lyon

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans are understood to have been attacked outside of a bar in Lyon ahead of Thursday's Europa League match in the French city.
Three supporters have been taken to hospital after around 200 masked men forced their way into the Smoking Dog bar.
The assailants are thought to be right-wing extremists who had earlier attended a gathering in the city centre earlier on Thursday.
Tottenham fans were subjected to an attack in Rome before their European fixture with Lazio in November.

Thing is, with these things happening, we're going to start getting a reputation, even though it's never provoked by the Spurs fans!
