Not good. I assume we have sports psychologists at the club etc?

Just get back to basics, Richy.

Well, hopefully he doesn't read any social media comments from some of his own 'support' base.

I remember redknapp saying once. When a striker is suggesting a confidence issue. You just get them banging loads in in training. Put them up against the worst defender at the club and boost confidence.

Poor lad needs to relax and try to enjoy his game again. Back to the showboating and fun Brazilian.

Did Brazil win?

Seems like everything is about him, get over yourself.
Problem is that he's not especially skilful, he's not especially fast, he's not especially tall or strong, he's an all rounder and as a striker people will look at that and ask what does he bring if he's not scoring?

If he brought any one of those other attributes there would be fewer questions on his contributions so he's probably sees that without the goals people will judge him negatively

His rise to the top in football came about from playing on the left, because Everton shunted him up front because of their lack of options he somehow became recategorized as a striker without ever being prolific, his Everton goal's were always decisive in grabbing a draw or a much needed win.

his main attributes have always been his workrate and determination.

All this shit about who broke him and when is irrelevant IMO. What is relevant is what does the club do to support one of our own. I said the club but let me be clear on this, the club includes us the fans. We need to give him love and support regardless of if we think he was worth the reported fee we paid for him or even of we should have tried to sell him last window.
Let's stick together as a club and lift and support our own!!

I feel bad for him but he's clearly struggling. He seems to react quite emotionally to things atm, like being subbed off.

I hope he succeeds and gets the right help. But I also think that, unfortunately, this is going to go down as a really poor signing. £60m might not get you what it did five years ago, but it can certainly get you better than what Richarlison has shown for us so far.

Richy can score goals. But it's been a shit last 6 months for him. He gets his confidence back, we will have a striker. I hope club, and that includes our booing fans get behind him.

We are playing good football so let's support our players.

I refer you to the the interview where Richarlison reveals Conte berated him and humiliated him for two hours. Totally unnecessary and lasting harm the only possible outcome.

Hopefully Ange knows about this/gets told about this soon and can sort him out. There is a player in there, but something clearly isn't right with him currently.

He needs a transfer to an easier league if goals mean that much to him. Hasn't got the skill set for 20 goals a season in the Premier league. We need consistency, not moods. He'll be his own worst enemy on the pitch unless he gets some mental help. Hope he's OK but this looks like a car crash at the moment.

His rise to the top in football came about from playing on the left, because Everton shunted him up front because of their lack of options he somehow became recategorized as a striker without ever being prolific, his Everton goal's were always decisive in grabbing a draw or a much needed win and therefore were overhyped.

A player can be recategorised by position change. I doubt anyone would dream of playing Bale as a left back once he'd shown what he was capable of.

Even playing through the middle for Brazil. He's a forward that works hard but players of that nature are always judged on what they do. You look at so many of our "workrate" players, past and present, (Hojbjerg, Jenas, Freund, Sissoko) have all been heavily criticised for not bringing enough to the team even though we know workrate is fundamental to a strong team
