Tickets for Ricky Hatton v Juan Lazcano go on sale today, the fight is on the 24th May @ the City of Manchester Stadium.
Anyone hoping to go?
I've just bought two tickets, can't wait!

Have you seen Hatton fight before?

I was lucky enough to be in the MEN Arena the night that Hatton beat Kostya Tszu.

I will never forget it, incredible fight and atmosphere!

I was there! Brilliant night! Calzaghe was meant to be fighting that night too but had to pull out through injury, iirc. Everyone was singing football's coming home & doing the mexican wave

I was also in the M.E.N arena for Hatton vs Tszyu, the place went mental when Tszyu didn't come out for the final round. It'll be a good night whoever he fights in May, I expect the Hitman to bounce back from his last fight.

Hatton would beat Witter, I don't think Witter is near as skillful, smart, quick or as strong as Mayweather. Plus if they fought it'd be at Light-Welterweight (140lbs) Hattons natural and strongest weight, against Mayweather he had to step up to fight a bigger man.

As a lot of the above have pointed out Mayweather is seriously good, the best in the world right now. He will go down as one of the greats of all time, his list of victories include Hatton, De La Hoya, Gatti, Judah, Castillo (in his prime twice), Corrales. Though he can be an annoying shit!

i'll take bets of anyone here who fancies hatton against witter,

coat tszu..was a has been fighter who hadnt had a fight in 2 years, and the country goes mad over it,

comes up against a fighter in mayweather who hatton honestly believed he could beat and gets slaughtered, witter is far to classy too fast too good,

prahaps when hatton loses another fight he will take up witters challenge, when hattton needs him rather than the other way around,i dont think ive ever seen a more one dimentional boxer than hatton,if his left hook to the body's not working the bloke looks lost, dont get me wrong hes a very good fighter but up against anyone who's also very good as well he will always struggle in my book,

time will tell,

I would take bets as well. What price would you give me and what is the maximum I could bet?

I'd have to think about taking that bet as well. It's not going to happen though, latest is that Mayweather is considering a rematch with Hatton, which I think is a mistake, cause Ricky is not in the same league as him, and could get beaten worse the next time they meet.

If Hatton were to fight Mayweather 5 times at Welterweight, he most probably would win only one fight. I cannot see Mayweather fighting him again, as that bridge has been crossed. After the Del La Hoya money making exercise in September, I can only see Cotto as Mayweather's next opponent.

I agree with GL. Hatton has look awful in both his fights at Welterweight and to fight Mayweather again wouldn't be about the fight, it would be about making money.

Mayweather - Cotto would be a great match up :)....even tho i totally agree that Hatton would love to FM if they had a rematch. Would still love to see a rematch at Wembley, cause means i could go :)

I've had to sell my tickets cos of my poorly dog. Have just bought it to watch on Sky though.
Looking foward to it, Hatton's younger brother is fighting as well, should be a good night!

Here's the line up:
