I think a lot of you who are prepared to welcome Keane back with no questions asked should ask yourself a couple of questions.

Wasn't Keane only as good for us because of his understanding with Berbasulk?

Will it work as well with Pav?

Nope he did well even before Berba joined.

Yeah, when he was a spring chicken. He's spet 2 years tailoring his play around Berbs. I don't think it's a guarantee that he'll be the Keane of old when he comes back. Infact, I'd bet on it.

So let me get this right. According to reports we have offered a straight cash deal of £15mill to get the turncoat back? But Liverpool owe us at least £10mill on the original deal. How can this be? Surely it should be £5mill straight up which, in my opinion, is five million too much.
His signing, which looks likely, should also come with a full public apology.

Well he didn't play against us when we knocked them out. Not sure about the 3rd round game.

it means no players are involved.

It will be £5m from our bank account and £10m scrubbed from the books.

i love Keano, was gutted when he left and am absolutley thrilled at the prospect of having him back.

Think people need to realise what he brings to the entire squad, his presence in the changing room, on the training field and also out on the pitch. Dont think its any surprise that our team spirit seemed to drop as soon as Robbie left us for greener grass......................

Welcome home Keano!!!

Look at Defoe's goal vs Stoke. See Pav's pass through? Doesnt even look at where Defoe is, just plays the ball perfectly, Defoe didnt even have to break stride. Now I know that was with Defoe, but it suggests that Pav can develop an understanding with anyone else a la Berba. Just my view though.

I think he can be registered for the UEFA because Liverpool are in the Champions League. Had they finished 3rd and fallen into the UEFA, then he would be ineligible.

No. All new registrations for the UEFA cup squad had to be completed yesterday.

The deadline cannot be extended.
