Can I just make clear that there is nothing to suggest that Robbo's Misses has suffered from PND, it's just a suggestion from me of a situation that can happen to anyone, and would be the sort of situation that would not help performance in any job, never mind one in such a public arena.

Robinson needs to follow David James' lead - get out of the spotlight, rebuild the confidence, and then prove the doubters wrong with stellar performances.
He could never do this with us, especially since we have made big money signings and we have the pressure of being the most likely team to break the top 4. Every mistake would be 'a nail in our bid to break the top 4'. Villa are improving but they havent got those expectations yet, and selling Barry will only lower expectations

Paul has had personal problems to deal with, which wouldn't have helped his bad form.
Robbo's wife went through a difficult pregnancy and the birth had complications. When the baby was 4 weeks old he was taken to hospital with Bronchiolitis, a common lung infection found in small children, however as Paul's son was so young it was a bit more serious. When my son was young he also had to spend some time in hospital and I can tell you from experience how difficult it is, even if the problem isn't that serious.
I think it is best for Robbo to move on, Villa or Boro would be the best places for him imo. Thanks for the memories Paul (and the champagne you gave me after the CC final lol)
