well as I said before last night's game I like Rocha - but take 57s point that if Jol & JR don't mmmm

anyway I'm glad he's available to play if needed - I've always thought he's as good at FB as CB for us -

we'll see how things go - in JR I trust etc

and BTW Daws does make stacks of mistakes

wonder what this lad Dawkins is like - the way the Bent situ is going either he or Pekhart may get a chance on the bench soon in a lge game

SS57, it might be something as simple as they feel he is too short to be a CB. This isn't unlikely since we have a poor defensive record especially from set pieces

ss57 was right in that 2 very different coaches haven't rated him. Short? on talent, I'm afraid. Remember how much he cost. Not a lot. Squad player, nothing more I'm afraid lads...

I defintely agree behind a fit Woody and King, but the topic is should he be ahead of Dawson. I think he should.

Paul, no offence mate, but I liken your comments to that of a 12 year old, or a retard.

take your pick.

Me too. And on the subject of how much did he cost, £3.3m is the answer. OK, it's not huge, but I'd imagine that we saw enough in him to pay a decent fee for him.

You may say your reply was light hearted, I personally didn't find it that funny, I just think you couldn't come up an actual reason why you didn't rate Rocha. Instead you just listed some stupid things that came to you head.

However your first point was serious as for you to say he's too small in a light hearted way would indicate that Rocha is taller than average for someone to be considered tall otherwise the humour doesn't work. He's not though, 6ft is an average height and therefor he's just an average height, where's the humour in calling him too small?

Same height as Gallas and Carvalho. Touré is just 5' 10".

I don't think his height has anything to do with it.

And Kendall, no offence mate but PMT? or just a nob head?

Now sshhhh

Without trying to sound condescending you are nearly 30 now Paul, time to grow up a bit with your responses ?

Or all your future posts will be treated accordingly with contempt by all.

You think you may be saying things in humour but the intonation doesn't come through well in forums.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't he pretty much been injured for as long as Ramos has been here? We might still see him given a chance to prove himself yet. I don't know if I'd prefer him to any of the other centre backs, but surely he should start ahead of Zokora or Chimbonda, or even Thudd. The mistakes he made, he made while our defensive shape was, shall we say, out of whack. His performances must be compared to those of Dawson's and Kaboul's performances in the beginning of the season.

Chris, you may agree all you want, but whilst it's possible that one coach might have an inexplicable blind spot about a player, when two coaches appear to agree on him there's a high probability that they've got it right and we've got it wrong.
